NHL 24 Top 10 Left and Right Defence

  1. Surprised they think EK65 is 3 overall worse then Josi after just winning the Norris and putting up 100 points

  2. I’d have Sanderson over Chabot, but either way it’s awesome to see a Sen in the top 10 of something

  3. Carlson is a bit high here lol. Maybe an 88 due to his offensive capabilities but he’s awful defensively.

  4. I haven’t played a hockey videogame in almost 20 years, so I apologize if this is a stupid question, but: why the differentiation between left and right defensemen? Does the game treat them as if they are totally different positions? Like you can’t pair Karlsson and Letang up because they’re both right defensemen?

  5. Chabot is lowkey overrated by EA and I am a Sens Fan. Sanderson is just better or tied with Chabby imo

  6. I’ve been saying for years, but they need to completely overhaul the ratings systems.

Right now, the scale is 36-99. But let’s be real, no one is really ever in the 30/40s. But they have to adjust so you have the CHL/Euro leagues which leaves 99% of NHLers between 80 and 90 with no real difference.

It would be great if they added scales so Shane Wright – for example, was a 90 in the OHL, an 84 in the AHL, and an 78 in the NHL. So if I put him on an OHL team, he gets a ratings spike but I move him to Seattle, and he goes down.

But I would also open up the ratings so like a 3rd pairing was a 60 overall vs. a 90 overall forward. So you dont need to put Mitch Marner’s checking rating at an 85 so he maintains a high overall or Carlson’s defensive rating at a 90

  7. Still no Oilers. No surprise here, though Nuge really should have been on the LW list. We should have a couple at centre, though right? Right? Lol, watch them leave off Drai.

  8. Chabot isn’t even the best LD on his own team based off last season.

If he gets back to 55pt form, Ottawa is beyond set
