Which 90s/00s hockey toys were your favorite: Starting Lineup, Headliner, or McFarlane?

  1. McFarlane easily, but only after they got the rights to use NHL licensing and didn’t have to stick the NHLPA logo on the jerseys instead of the team logo.

  2. McFarlane but the weird ones with the NHLPA logo instead. I had a bunch of random ones, LeClair, Messier, Hasek, and I just remember being so annoyed none of them had the logos

  3. Starting lineup with always hold a place in my heart for the big four sports. I still have some on display in my office, including Stevens and Brodeur.

  4. McFarlane are a whole thing. Best of the three by far. Always bugged me that Brodeur ones had unusual poses.

  5. I still have my Ovechkin McFarlane, as well as Jagr with the Caps’ 9/11 patch on the shoulder.

The size and detail of the McFarlane’s is what made them so great.

  6. The 3rd collectable says Ages 4 to 104. So Lou Lamoriello could never play with that toy since he’s passed the maximum age limit.

  7. McFarlane was the best. Had a few of the starting line up ones, including a prized Jim Campbell St.Louis Blues one. By the time I was old enough to know who he was, Campbell was out of the league.

  8. I was a headliners kid all the way. Still have a few and would love if they put out current day players

  9. I wish someone made a thing where you isolated the faces of the players from these toys and we tried to guess who it was.

  10. Mcfarlane toys were the best. I had every single hockey figure they made on display in my basement for years until I moved and sold most of them. I still have a team Canada Crosby CL/100 and Selanne CL/100

  11. I always loved McFarlane figures and still do but some of them just don’t age well if you display them out of their packaging. Some of my favorites were the Hanson Brothers set, Whalers Gordie Howe and Flames Roman Turek but they all had problems with tilting over because their stands didn’t really support them properly.

Starting Lineups may not have been the most detailed but they’ve held up great over the years, especially later series. My all-time favorites are Dominik Hasek in the butterfly and diving Eddie Belfour.

    Headliners are just delightful.

So, in short, all of them, forever.
