Which name surprised you most?

  1. Jake Walman always surprised me he had *that much* of a cannon, he just doesn’t seem like to type to have that good of a howitzer.

Y’all ever see him shoot? It’s like the Gustav Gun on skates.

He has a railgun, pure unadulterated kinetic energy. It’s like the enemy goalies are airplanes and he’s the AA gun. His shot is so explosive, it’s also *really* fast. I can’t prove it but boy oh boy it just moves man. You can hear it whistle as you go by, it really reminds of that time in September of ’95 when we…y’know what never mind.

  2. Victor Arvidson being able to get to that speed at the size that he is is actually insane.

  3. Chara didn’t record a single one…

Talk about past his prime. Guy should retire!!

  4. Stone leading the way on the 90+ category surprised me only in that he got that many shots off in the amount of games he played, given his role

  5. Tage Thompson! I’ve seen his silky mit highlights but didn’t know he was shooting that hard

  6. For being known for his heavy shot and putting in so many one-timers, pretty wild that Ovie isn’t here. Guess it’s that mix of just enough power and pinpoint accuracy.

  7. Man stone has to be the most beloved 7th D in flames history. Happy he stayed on staff, he can teach young kids how to smash the puck

  8. Chinakhov shocks me, and I’m a huge fan of him. Kid keeps surprising, I didn’t realize he had a fucking cannon

  9. TL;DR

If Pulock is taking a slap shot be prepared for pain if you plan on blocking it

  10. Matt Dumba finding this list. I watched a lot of Minnesota-games, and he was invisible to me.

But he must have done something when I didn’t watch, then.

  11. Really just shows how pointless it is to shoot that hard. Accuracy and timing is all that matters.

  12. Absolutely certain that neither of those 100mph clappers from Colin Miller even came close to the goal.

  13. It’s mildly irritating that Stone’s states don’t go to a second decimal place. Mike Hoffman goes to two decimal places even though though it’s 100.10

  14. Call me a homer, but I’m shocked Matthews is no where to be found in these.
