Kind of figured this was going to happen, but it still sucks.
Opeta isn’t a precipitous drop off from Jurgens. And Opeta is a veteran, he’s not as athletic as Jurgens, but knows all the DT moves.
I think it was probably a wash this year between the two in training camp, but they wanted to get Jurgens the grass time because he’s the future of the line.
Opeta should be fine and Jurgens will be back in November.
We’re paying for our injury luck last season

What was the injury? I recall it being a foot but didn’t hear more than that.
Sua is short for Iosua which means “the lord is my salvation” so I think we’ll be okay

Although, if it is mild enough to only take the minimum, this is the time to do it. He misses the rams, jets, dolphins, and commies. If we can get him back healthy for that 6 week stretch after that, we should be alright.

Ugh, he’s being deprived of the one thing he really needs right now: playing time. If we’re really planning to slide him into center after Kelce retires, this won’t help.
