Saw these comments on KSL tonight and wanted to get y’all’s thoughts or reactions.

Perrin Aybara needs to take a chill pill. First dude is correct, it’s the first game of the season against one of the best teams in the West. Let’s at least get 5 games under our belt before we break out the sky-is-falling doomerisms
KSL is not the place to go for comments
These are the same people who loved John Stockton simply because he looked like a member of the bishopric

Idiots, frankly.
Reddit isn’t the pinnacle of informed discourse, obviously, but KSL and Twitter are imo of worse quality. I put very little stock into most of what’s said on those platforms as it relates to basketball.
The Jazz cannot be moved out of Utah. The organization belongs to a trust.
Did the Jazz look kinda bad? Yes.
Did they compete? Yes.
Being that it was the first game of the year I’m going to reserve judgement. I get that they have preseason and summer to practice. But it’s a lot of new pieces again, and if I had to pick on something it would be the defense. Specifically transition and wayyyyy to much zone imo. In a league where almost every guy can knock down 3’s we really need to just play man.
That was a playoff team that gave a healthy Steph-Warriors almost more than they could handle. They’ve cohesive core that’s come back hungry and battlehardened from that.
We’re not there yet, but I don’t see that the fire has gone out of the team in the slightest. We weren’t a playoff team, yet we gave them as much as we could (though I missed the game and only watched the highlights).
