  1. If we were more efficient in the red zone tonight this would have been a complete blowout. What a huge bounce back win after getting our dicks handed to us last week.

6-2 going into the Bye Week? Yessssirrrrrr!

  2. – All that the Craig Reynolds fumble teaches me is that I can walk up to a pile-up, yank the ball out after the play is over, yell enough at Clete that it was a fumble, and they’ll call it in my favor with no evidence
    – Bye can’t come sooner, I get the feeling that we still have the jitters on offense but time will tell if that’s permanent
    – 3-0 in primetime
    – Alim is a DAWG
    – Gibbs is a DAWG
    – Hey SOL losers, we’re 6-2 now. The line was -7 and we covered. Stfu and ride or die

  3. It’s very nice that the Lions can play a super ugly, mistake ridden game and still win very comfortably. Clean up the mistakes over the Bye and get healthy. A W is a W, and you never take that for granted in this league. We move

  4. A somewhat sloppy win but a win is a win, I’ll take it. We definitely need that upcoming bye week for everyone to heal up.

  5. I’ll never complain about a double digit win in the NFL. Hopefully the guys can get healthy over the next 2 weeks and have a great second half of the season.

  6. If you think winning dominantly outside of the score isn’t a great win, get the fuck outta here. Football isn’t just blow outs by good teams. Good teams win with mistakes. Bad teams lose because of them.

  7. It was ugly but like Saleh said, “they don’t ask how, they just ask how many”

  8. Honestly this is the kind of ugly win that I’m fine with. We dominated that game, almost 500 yards of offense. Defense played great too, we just turned the ball over 3 times and *only* won by 12 as a result.

  9. Credit to AG for dialing up way better blitzes

Still sad Hutch didn’t get a sack though

Also Jamo and Tracy Walker need to spend the bye week on the juggs machine all day

  10. Got a lot to clean up, see if Holmes pulls the trigger on any trades. Get healthy and come out the bye with vengeance

  11. My takeaways:

I’m still not ready to forget about the red zone play calling. That was… Bad. Really fucking bad. Cute doesn’t even begin to describe it. I get that trickeration is part of our identity, but our *main* Identity is a team that will grind you down. 2nd and 1 at the 5, you run the damn ball. I don’t care if the the Ra pass had worked, it was still dumb.

Gibbs. What more is there to say? What a day.

Man, it’s like every play designed for Jamo is a disaster even when it isn’t 100% his fault. Idk. It was nice to see him with an intermediate shot over the middle. I’d rather see a concerted attempt to get him involved that way instead of these cutesy designed plays…

Weird game from Goff. He definitely wasn’t bad, and at times he looked pretty great. He even evaded pressure and made a play a couple times. But for the second week in a row, he had some strange throws– and not all because of pressure. He just doesn’t look 100% on it to me.

Hopefully AG is reassured by the success of the situational blitzes and continues that trend. The defense snuffed out any potential at a comeback on like 3 consecutive drives in the 4th.

  12. I can’t stop thinking about Crosby on this team. I think he would take us to a whole other level.

  13. wow, aikman just said the lions remind him of his early cowboys teams. that’s high praise.

  14. I choose to believe that if you can give up three turnovers, including a pick six, and go 1-5 in the red zone, and still win by two scores, then you must be a good team.
