He unfollowed the steelers, mike tomlin, and kenny pickett.
Even if he is upset, who gives a shit? His feelings don’t catch balls, his hands do. One problematic player isn’t gonna be much of an issue, Steelers fans should be well aware of this after we learned MBC was a cancer for years and we kept stacking wins just fine. Probably unpopular but I don’t even watch player interviews, I only care about how they perform on the field.
$5 says the coaching staff chewed him out for acting like a fool during the game. You can act like a fool (AB), and you can make mistakes in game (Kenny, OL, Pat P), but you can’t do both (Claypool, Devin Bush) lol

But when a guy who is your teammate, gets his first TD after 21 games. You go show him some love and not immediately pout your ass to the sideline like it’s all about you. Especially since he is usually the first guy celebrating you when you score.
I never said it before because I didn’t want it to be true, but I’ve always felt that it wouldn’t work out with him. He just never really struck me as a Steeler.
I got similar vibes with Claypool. It’s the little things that you pick up on if you’re paying attention. It’s much more obvious now though.

There was one play where he was open in the second half and Pickett instead threw it over the head of an open DJ on the other side of the field and Pickens looked like he was yelling about being open. He’s a competitor and wants the ball, that’s great. Worrying about what an athlete puts on Instagram is ridiculous.

In 2022, through 17 games, he had 52 catches for 801 yards and 4 TDs. Of the 571 pass attempts that season, 14.7% went to George for 84 total targets.
Through 8 games in 2023, Pickens has 30 catches for 521 yards and 3 TDs. Of the 262 passing attempts this season, 22% of them have been directed at George for 58 total targets.
At the halfway point of the season, he’s on pace for a career high in catches, yards, TDs and targets. He’s currently 18th in the league in receiving yards – which is honestly higher than I expected given the offense’s struggles.

When he got that touchdown last week he kind of slowly, with his head hung low, walked over to the fans and just buried his head into them. I thought it was strange at the time considering he had just scored a touchdown. He might have some mental issues he needs to take care of.
