  1. Posted specifically for the Mac Truther who doesn’t believe he threw the ball 10 yards short. I can’t believe I have to say this but, **he just threw the ball 10 yards short.** It wasn’t tipped, just watch his footwork and that’s all you need to see.

    [Please get some help.](https://988lifeline.org/)

  2. The throw makes no sense. A soft low throw to the tallest guy on the field? Did he think another receiver was in the area? He definitely got benched because there’s literally no explanation. The coaches must have been stunned

  3. The one time lofting the ball would have gotten it to Pharaoh. Instead he lightly tosses it to the guy who got beat by like four steps.🙄

  4. This clip highlights all his issues:

    – Poor pocket movement
    – Weak arm strength
    – Absolutely does not want to get hit.

  5.

The nearest Colts defender to him is still 2.5 yards away when he throws. So can’t chalk this up to “bad OL” Why is he floating it off his back foot?

The behind the line camera makes this so much more worse seeing it here for the 1st time. Juju wide fucking open to left for the TD if Jones just glances to the left. Never takes his eyes of Gesicki which fine Gescki was wide open too but he hurries up the throw, never sets and floats it when there was no pressure.

Bill O’Brien dialed up a great play that with at least 25 other QBs it’s a TD. 2 guys being wide open for a TD and it ends up an INT.

  6. Just no reason to throw off his back foot there.

When you have a mid at best arm, your mechanics have to be perfect.

  7. Tony Romo was a decent NFL QB. One of the things that kept him from being a top tier/franchise QB was he threw up a handful of bizarre *wtf was he thinking* passes a year. Mac throws up a handful of those a game.

This was 1 that was intercepted, but it was far from the only one that could have been picked off. Same thing happened last week. Ended up with only 1 int, but there was a heck of a lot more that easily could’ve been caught by a defender.

  8. I’m starting to wonder if O’Brien is really that bad at all or if he just can’t make anything happen with an absolute booty offensive roster.

  9. It’s like he was tossing a fadeaway jump shot. Pretty wild when you consider this would’ve been the first step towards redeeming himself. Way to shoot yourself in the foot

  10. That was seriously horrible. He had time & he had Mike wide open. It’s like he saw the throw & then second guessed it or something halfway through the motion.

The DB was mind blown at how bad that throw was. For a second he looked around like, “did that kid really just throw the ball to me or am I being punkd?”

  11. I’m waiting for someone to post the clip earlier in the game when we were in the red zone where he almost takes a sack and fumbles it trying to throw it to Mondre. If you watch the behind the line camera replay Douglas was wide open running across the middle past the marker and he never looks at him, not to mention Mondre just standing there with no one around him and easily would have gotten the 1st but nope.

  12. Took me a while to see the LB tipped it. Still not a great throw but adds some context to the radical drop.

  13. Please. Someone else tell me how Josh Allen or Tua Tagliavoa suck and we wouldn’t possibly rather have them quarterbacking this team.

  14. Dodging middle pressure that isn’t there, wildly missing a bunny. This sort of film for previously promising young/rookie QBs is why fucking up your offensive line has basically a 100% fire rate. It doesn’t just make it impossible to win games, it mentally ruins a lot of kids.

  15. Just watching this video gets my blood pressure up. I’ve defended Mac for so long because I wanted him to be the guy. But that’s such a bad fucking throw. Every time we’ve had a chance to win he does some stupid fucking shit like that. Cut our losses and move on. I’ve seen enough.

  16. Start someone else for the rest of the season if they do well we all know who the problem is

  17. Where’s the moron claiming it was tipped after he analyzed this thing like the Zabruter tape?? LMFAO some people are just morons

  18. The sad addendum to this is that his 10th interception of the season should have come the drive before when he missed a wide open tight end in the endzone and instead again hit a defender in both hands. The defender was just kind enough to drop it that time.

  19. For me this throw will be known as the one that turned me fully to 100% ready to move on from Mac.

  20. It’s the same problem that he’s been having for a long time. He’s drifting back as he throws it instead of stepping into it and just driving the ball. He doesn’t have anywhere close to the arm strength to be getting away with that. Yeah Lowe gets beat to the inside but he has more than enough time to throw the ball correctly.

I know the OL hasn’t been great and he gets pressured a lot, but even when he has a clean pocket he’s still doing it. I don’t know if he’s seeing ghosts or that’s just him, but that doesn’t really matter at this point because he won’t stop doing it. He made the right read but because of how *atrocious* his mechanics are this keeps happening.

  21. Tank commander Jones saw our top three pick slipping away and made the play of the season, thank you Mac! 🫡

  22. I just don’t get the fade away back foot throw, he had an open target and a clean pocket all he had to do was loft it over the top and that’s 6.

    He’s got the yips.
