using fenwick instead of corsi on shot attempt quality punishes teams for blocking shots. vegas has the third-lowest GA/g in the league and is a top-5 shot blocking team but they’re shown here as super mid on attempt quality against because you use fenwick. jackets are another team that doesn’t actually give up more high danger chances than typical. that’s why we keep losing by one or two and not getting blown out.
It is amusing that every type of chart this season has the Sharks hanging out by themselves
