We’re definitely done with Mann and Poku so this moves off them too while Olynk can provide some physicality and can pass and shoot.

  1. Not sure why people are criticizing this. It’s become pretty clear Mann and Poku are mostly out of the rotation. It does us and them not good to rot at the end of the bench. We need a big because Jwills defense right now is at times Kanter-level bad. Another vet voice in the locker room also makes sense. I dig this trade but I don’t know where Kelly is in Utah’s rotation so I can’t tell if this gets the deal done.

Over the last few months we’ve seen a ton of hyper unrealistic trades that definitely didn’t seem like a thunder move. Like Ayton. These types of smaller conservative moves where we can consolidate some pieces so they also get a chance elsewhere feels like a win win. Is this a championship level move? No. But it hypothetically helps some of things we see most nights.

  2. If you’re gonna make this trade, why wouldn’t you just not make this trade and instead get Muscala back since he 1)costs less in assets b)costs less in salary and III)we already know he likes the org/city and plays well in the Shai+shooters lineup

  3. This shouldn’t be downvoted. These guys could use some more time on the rotation, and Mark has them FAR below ***Lindy Waters***

Give them a chance to grow. Bring in a guy that could be situationally useful. Everybody wins.

  4. I think it takes a first, but I like the idea! Not sure if they would want Mann, seeing as they already have shot chucket senior, and junior (Clarkson, George)
