Just upsets me every time I think about 2020.
We would have beaten them as badly as the Bucs did, and the officials just fucked us over.
THE VAUNTED JOE BARRY DEFENSE.
I don’t think Joe Barry is bad to have against aggressive/ push the ball down the field offenses. His scheme seems to try and stop the big plays and let them have the underneath stuff. The problem is he treats every QB like this so Desmond Ridder gets to drive all the way down the field because we give him easy yards. It would be nice to press up and force the bad QBs to beat us but we play off the line no matter the QB.
This is probably too simple but it’s how I see it.
I was at that first game and it was when I finally realized that special teams would prob kill GB in the playoffs.
It was fun to ask my friend about Mahomes’ performance that day
