Bowles covering for Baker here. Because the truth is that Chris is open plenty but Baker either doesn’t get to him in his read progression or is hesitant to pull the trigger.
I agree with the sentiment, but not sure this one is on Bowles. I’m no Bowles apologist by any stretch, but if he is really “hands off” on the offense, I don’t think it’s necessarily on him.
This likely shows that Bowles has completely lost the locker room. If CG liked Bowles, his wife would probably not be going at him on Twitter. Fire this fool.
Regardless of whether she’s right, this is not a productive way of handling it. Either she shouldn’t be speaking on Chris’s behalf or Chris shouldn’t be using his wife as a way to badmouth his coach. Todd has to go but this isn’t the right or healthy way to handle it

But to be fair Bowles hasn’t said anything criticizing Chris or his work and the way he plays. When looking at the way Bowles is and acts on the sidelines I 10000% believe he’s hands off on offense. Regardless of how correct Ms. CG is (which is very much tbh) this kind of thing is extremely unhelpful and only serves to heighten tensions in the team. I don’t think Bowles is the HC to lead us forward but making a feud with him public is completely unwarranted

It’s honestly Baker’s fault. He did really well not losing the first few games of the season and made it look like he was the answer. But he has been missing open recievers for the past 8 games. Watch his head when he drops back. He doesn’t go through any sort of progressions he just looks at his first read and the check down. If both of those are gone he fully dedicates himself to running. He isn’t seeing Chris Godwin because he doesn’t even look at him for the entire game.
Work ethic has nothing to do with being subbed for being banged up. Im not saying shes wrong and I also think Bowles has to go, but shes being disingenuine and taking great liberty with how she perceived that quote.
I’m usually anti players wives getting involved, but I’ll co-sign onto Mrs Godwins comments. Respect!
