  1. One target for Jamo is inexcusable. For the love of god will someone explain to me why Jamo doesn’t get more targets? Especially short passes. Dude can turn a slant into a TD and we get nothing.

  2. The Lions are a bottom 8 team in the NFL over the last 2 months by DVOA. That is not a small sample size. Stop quoting the record like it means anything, the NFL more than any other sport is about improving over the season and the Lions have gotten worse every single week. This is a BAD team. Stop calling people “doomers” and turning a blind eye because you don’t like reality.

    SWEEPING changes are needed in the offseason.

  3. Can’t give a QB with a clear ceiling 25% of the cap when this team still has a ton of talent deficiencies and the team is further away then we thought.

  4. Offense is declining and defense was never up to even decline. Declining in December is literally the worst time to do this. Awful game from coaches and players. There’s not just one side to blame.

  5. It’s hard to win games when you let your opponents catch up or extend their lead in the third quarter every single game. How do you have a team of former players as coaches that doesn’t know how to motivate dudes at halftime? They’ve come out flat at halftime every single game. It’s not a coincidence when it happens every single game. Is there a reporter with the balls to ask Dan this?

    It’s also hard to win a game when your defense can’t generate turnovers to make up for the offense’s mistakes.

    Lastly, the refs sucked ass, but the team still didn’t want to win. I saw like 5 Chicago false starts, the intentional grounding that wasn’t called, Hutch getting held all day with no call. But you know what? These dudes didn’t want to win, even reliable players like St. Brown dropping multiple passes in key situations. Pathetic effort

  6. All the “this sub is the worst if this team doesn’t score 50 points” are annoying AF.

    Have you not been watching the last 5 games? This shit is sloppy. We’re going to get absolutely squashed by Broncos and Cowboys if we show up with this shit show team. We’ll still win the division thanks to the Vikings, but damn, this team does not look great.

  7. Bears are a better team than us now after the trade deadline. Goff went from good to garbage and our Dline is the worst in the league by ALOT

  8. There is not an ounce of hero ball in Goff. He has no special traits. Obviously have to finish out this season with him but I’m ready for Hooker moving forward.

  9. We’re frauds, let’s face it. We’re still trending up in the years to come, but this year, we’re frauds.

  10. I like Goff but… I honestly believe we need to look to trade him for draft picks.. sad to say

    He goes fetal position every time the pocket collapses

    Indoors or good weather, he’s a good QB. But Detroit is in the midwest.. if he can’t play in the cold then we can’t look to ride with him longterm

    We need a QB who can improvise, move out of the pocket, and handle playing cold weather games. The dude is a completely different player in cold weather in a division that requires being able to play in those conditions

    Imagine a cold weather playoff game? We just going to roll up and accept he can’t win those year after year?

  11. It would not surprise me if this team lost the rest of their games. They’ve been bad for awhile now.

  12. Man, what is going on?

    Almost no pressure on fields,
    Secondary was terrible,
    Goff was bad,

    Felt like nothing was going right out there.

  13. Absolute worst game by Ben Johnson of the year, maybe this regime’s tenure. The 4th and 13 was on Hutch and that was the point where the wheels just completely fell off.

    I’ve been one of the guys who thought that people were overreacting to Goff’s turnover stretch but now… yeah, I see exactly why Brad Holmes drafted Hooker.

  14. Honestly don’t know what to say about this one. We were bad in every phase. There were no bright spots.

    I’m really concerned about the rest of the year, we look lost and baring about 7 minutes of the Saints game it’s been weeks since we’ve looked even decent. A good team is more than just a good record.

  15. Seriously just fuck this team for being the best I’ve ever seen but still making it a shitty experience while doing so

  16. Call me crazy I don’t give a fuck, I’m putting most of, if not all of this loss on the offense. Turning the ball over with a botched snap, a slow developing play getting stopped on 4th and 1 in your own territory, getting shut out in the second half, o line falling apart, it was horrible today

  17. 3rd loss in a row where the opposing team has elected to receive. Offenses around the league are obviously aware of problems in the Lions defense. The offense took a shit in the second half, but this consistent capitulation of the Lions defense on opening drives is an indictment on AG. We can’t expect to start every game down 7-0 and to continue to win.

    THIS is why AG needs to go

  18. Show me the locker room video during these losses. I’ve fucking had it with these cheerful “we have heart” speeches after barely beating terrible teams. I want to see how he talks to them after a LOSS.

  19. My Mom is a lifelong Detroit sports fan and I’m now following her advice for cheering for the Lions. “Don’t actually pay attention to them, just be pleasantly surprised when they do anything better than be awful. Whenever you think that things are different and you start paying attention, they always manage to figure out a way to break your heart.”

  20. Well, let’s say Packers beat the Giants tomorrow.

    The Packers will be 2 GB for the division lead in that scenario.

    Packers play:

    * vs Tampa
    * @ Carolina
    * @ Minnesota
    * vs Chicago

    Lions play:

    * vs Denver
    * @ Minnesota
    * @ Dallas
    * vs Minnesota

    Buckle up, fellas. This is going to be a nail-biter.

  21. How you gonna trade up for a deep threat and never throw deep? It makes it more difficult for St and LaPorta when the safeties aren’t concerned.

  22. Campbell owns this. Horrible game on both sides of the ball. You can blame turnovers but the play calling was no better.

    On 4th and 1, how the hell David Montgomery isnt on the field to get that 1 yard is beyond me. Instead, let’s get cute with Gibbs and let him get creamed behind the line.

    4th and 13 and you let Eberflus and Fields make you look like the most incompetent defense this league has ever seen.

    Just two standout plays of many today. Campbell has a lot of questions to answer after this.

  23. The last game where I felt good about this team was week 7 against the Bucs. Ever since it’s been:

    Destroyed by the Ravens

    Decent win against the Raiders

    Squeaked by the Chargers

    17-0 run in the last 3:00 to beat the Bears

    Fat L against the Packers

    Almost blew a 21-0 first quarter lead to the Saints

    Demolished by the Bears

    This team had a phenomenal first 6 games but the last 7 have been outright atrocious on both sides of the ball. The team is very streaky and will have a fantastic 15 minute stretch then shit the bed for the next 15 minutes. It makes no sense and lends no legitimacy that this team will do anything past December. Yes, this is the best team we’ve had in years but lately they really haven’t shown it.
