  1. Fought hard on the 2nd game of a B2B road trip, took them to OT, and fought until the end. Can’t complain, as painful as these losses are.

    On the other hand, these being painful means this team is worth caring about, at least.

  4. Poor execution down the stretch. What was up with JSJ? Missed almost entire 4th and entire OT.

  5. Although the games are closer this year compared to last year’s blowouts, it’s still frustrating.

  6. This game was Donovan Mitchell versus a dude who did a poverty impression of Donovan Mitchell. Not winning games without an elite scoring guard in the NBA like Mitchell, Booker, Fox, Shai etc

  8. Why did Ime use Jalen in OT? He gave up open shots and was a step lay over and over today.

    And his man also always outhustles him for the board.

  10. As Tari and DB find their rhythm, JG and Sengun have been looking out of sorts. Wish it would all click together

  13. This game got on my nerves. Extremely frustrating loss. We are still elite at home so looking forward to that.

  16. We should’ve won this one. We literally had the possession twice to win the game and couldn’t finish.

    Another loss that hopefully teaches them something.

    On a side note, I understand Cam is a project being developed in the G League, but it wouldn’t hurt to give him some real minutes to see how he performs. We need a scorer, why can’t we give him a try? If he fails, send him back for improvement, we have time to work on him.

    It’s starting to look irresponsible to miss this opportunity.

  18. Imagine if we reduced our easy mistakes and miscommunication by half…

    I mean who the fuck gives up two open layups on the first two defensive possessions of fucking overtime!? God this was a frustrating game.

    Uncle Jeff was solid though. I love that man!

  19. Jalen Green “not that guy” allegations are heating up, and with good reason. Can’t be a franchise player if you’re a negative at the end of close games. We’ll see if he can figure it out

  20. Couldn’t watch this one but proud of the team for doing as well as they have in a back to back. Hope the next game is a win

  21. We’re at this weird phase in the history of the league, where there are some random white dudes on a two-way every season out of nowhere start cooking for a couple months and then develop into a really specific type of role player

  23. Just to piss my self.off even more merril is averaging 3ppg adn hit us for 19 on 5-10 from the 3. Beyond pissed is an understatement

  24. I’ll do anything to see Amen & Cam play, not even due to other players’ performances or anything like that. The opportunity for versatility in our lineups opens up with them & it feels limited without them…

  27. I think Jalen made a big mistake choosing the G League over college. He needed to be coached way before now. Plus him having never played in a system in his life is really hurting him.

  29. These are the kind of games that are must wins if Rockets want to make the playins/playoffs. You have to take advantage of shorthanded teams. We had our chances to put this game away and missed them.

    Bright spots were Uncle Jeff, Tari and Dillon the villain. Also very happy to see the team not giving up and folding when they were down.

    Tonight’s Not Him awards go to Bari and Jalen. Sengun was a mixed bag – terrible first half followed up by a decent 2nd, only for him to miss two chances at victory.

    The more and more time goes on I just can’t see Jalen being the guy we need. There’s no reason to trade him this season, may as well give him the year and see what happens, but there just doesn’t seem to be any growth in his game, let alone any consistency in his scoring.

    Disappointing one, but onto the next!
