  1. Jokic really put up Draymond numbers (8/9/7) and his team still won by 26. I don’t wanna hear how he’s more valuable than Luka to their team

  7. I really, really, dont care about the Nuggets beating us with all these injuries, its whatever, but the effort and intensity defensively was embarrasing.

  8. This was the game to rest Luka imo. He didn’t play 40 minutes but it was just dumb to play him at all

  9. First half better than expected, we weren’t supposed to win this game all things considered. But our front court is weak as hell, especially with Lively out. OMax is too raw at the moment & with Grant having a slump it’s obvious that our front court needs to improve if we’re going to have a shot. This has been a problem for a long time now.

  10. Today we learned that the MASH Unit Mavs are no match for a fully healthy Nuggets team. Hopefully we get Lively and KAI back in a few days/weeks vs month/months.

  12. Grant Williams needs to improve his game. He might lose the starter position if the Mavs gets another PF.

  13. We need more Lawson minutes. Curry too. I’m completely disenchanted with Hardy.

    Oh well still banged up. Get healthy soon half the team!

  15. The Mavs offense is garbage. Luka is going to get his but if all of these other players aren’t hitting threes, the game is a wrap. Curry is tied for fourth all time in 3pt% and was shooting in top 10 from the midrange at points last year and he isn’t getting shots. Hardy has low BBIQ. Luka can’t win by himself. This team needs to be able to score with Luka not on the court. 5 out offense isn’t it.

  20. Lol just look at the names around Luka on the box score. It’s going to be a while before this team can put a serious group around Luka.

  21. Hardy is worse in person on the road than seeing him at home. Wouldn’t get pennies on the dollar for him.

  22. Lakers showed people that you can win games with only 2 made threes, sadly we’re nowhere close to be like that. We just have no business in a game if our threes dont fall, thats about it.

  23. Need to get healthy. Kyrie and Lively desperately needed but even Green and Maxi minutes over some of the guys that were playing would have been big. And aside from health, we need some size. Just need to stay within the top 6 until our guys come back. Hopefully not too much longer.

  26. We all knew this was coming, we just gotta stay 6-7 games above .500 until the new year when Kai comes back. I’m torn between wanting to make a big move before the TD and just letting this season ride out and having all our available assets (minus the kyrie FRP in 2029) to make a real splash during the offseason/before the TD next year.

    Jokić with 8 points, Luka playing like crazy, and it’s a blow out game.

    Defense was terrible, we are too small, all the same.

    Without Lively worst front court in the league, and still playing Powell is insanity, cannot wait for the day he’s out.
    Im just tired of him.

  30. Exum 100% from the field and showed off some of his mid-range jumpers. His bag continues to have depth.

    But like others he just needs to shoot the open shot. Needed to be more than just reliable to stay in touch this game.

  32. As long as the Mavs keep beating the teams they’re supposed to beat and are competitive against top teams once the roster is healthy they should be alright.

  35. This would’ve been a tough game to win even with our full squad ready. Joker is just that good. We need Luka to put up 40+ and have a triple double with Grant, DJJ or Dante scoring 20 to win and Joker can put up a less than 10 points and we get crushed.

    This game is a good reminder why we need to win the games against the lower tier teams so we can afford to lose a few games and still keep our head above .500 in the standings against the better teams when we lose our starters until they come back.

  36. I know Luka had the numbers, but he did not look engaged in the 1st quarter. Multiple jog back on defense and watch your man score plays.

    DJJ coming back down to earth from 3 lately.

    Grant Williams needs to get back to playing with a edge. Just looks like he’s coasting out there.

  37. I wish we have someone like Gordon, imagine double lob threat, rebounds, defense, post up, even 3’s, perfect guy pairing with Luka.

    With him and one good backup C , we would be really contenders.

    Or lineup of Luka, Kyrie, Lively, Gordon , MPJ, thats champs team.

  39. I’m concerned that if we keep using Luka like this, he’s going to get burned out like last year. Especially in games like this where we had no chance of winning. I hope Kyrie returns quickly.

  40. greg brown minutes were good. a 6’9″ guy with that type of athleticism and drive has a place in our rotation.

  41. Started poorly. I was surprised we stayed in touch as long as we did.

    Not much to take away from this game except Luka is the MVP and we need our team back!
