The anniversary of O’Ree playing in the nhl just came up so I thought I’d share this stick my great-grandfather gave me. Willy and his team at the time visited my grandfathers western wear store in LA. I’ve determined the team is almost certainly the LA Blades, but if anyone has any other insight to the names on the stick I’d love to hear it.

That’s a really cool piece of hockey memorabilia. I’m reading his biography right now and his stories are great. He was blind in his right eye and didn’t tell anyone other than his sister so that it wouldn’t be held against him. Insane.
