  1. I’m curious if he can actually fill a SP role again or if he’s just going to be long-relief. He hasn’t broken a 100 innings since 2016 so I’m guessing another bullpen arm.

    It makes sense. The Buccos are going to need to load up on relievers since the rotation is probably going to average about 3.2 innings.

  2. Surprised only a minor league deal. Been extremely solid the past few seasons. Expect him to get some run.

  3. Minor-league deal? I thought he had been pretty darn productive recently. To make sure I wasn’t crazy I looked and he’s had an ERA plus of 119, 83, 138, and 152 the last four years. I’m kind of surprised he couldn’t find a major league deal somewhere. Am I missing something? Does he have off the field problems or injury issues or something?
