Blues @ Canadiens 2/11 | NHL Highlights 2024
Montreal and Tanner Pearson controls the puck he’ll flip it high into the corner racing after it Jake Evans for the halves Pops to Center and some room for tchenko through the legs nice move he cuts into the bo score what a start for him Alexi tchenko in the opening seconds of the game
Makes it one other St Louis what a move to get around Jaden strubel and the Canadians have good numbers through the neutral zone it’s a pinch by David svar but there’s no problem everyone has it sorted out but a nice play by tchenko to put it around his body gets around Jaden strouble
Through the legs beautiful move struble’s not able to keep his speed and stay with him right through the crease and Pearson picks it up for neww he’ll wrap it along the board hustling there is y Aria
And he lost it look go here’s cap kind of lost an edge comes in shoots and that’s handled by Jake Allen fortunate for the Montreal Canadians as Caspar kaan is one of the fastest players in
The league he catches an edge so he’s not able to accelerate and break away but Jake Allen with a nice save his second of the game Captain a waiver pick up from the Penguins back in early 2023 saavar in front centering pass good stop Bennington as Jake Evans right in front
Bennington easier said than done but something he’s capable of unfortunately Raphael Harvey penard injured a lower body injury and left the game yesterday in the loss against Dallas pass to Breo loads up score Colton pranl wires it and he has been red hot scoring from the Blue
Line his ninth of the season it’s two nothing blues and this doesn’t go off the Stick of Braden Shen it goes straight through a little bit of a distraction right next to Jake Allen
Caspar kaan’s going to get this Puck off the wall and me kovich in the way of Jake Allen a little bit impeding his vision setting things up Nick Suzuki Waits still with it Suzuki to Coffield
Suzuki down low new hook shoots and it’s in the pads of Bennington they were try to get it to New hook in the slot and they did he’s with new hook but he’s not really with new hook and that
Opens up six seconds left in the penalty sovi for mat thought about the shot hesitates slov walks it in in front Suzuki score Nick Suzuki buries in power play goal in Montreal within one it’s yri slavkovsky who attacks off the half wall what a pass right through the four
Players for the St Louis Blues and that’s a wide open cage for Nick Suzuki the first power play un it stuck with it they had a number of great sequences they’re finally able to create a little separation in the offensive zone and Coffield three goals in
Two career games versus biddington as Shen spins around waits for help in front tried to hit the trailer kessle as Matthew kessle was cut again kessle back C be in front what a left P stop by
Allen Thomas Evans line up to take the draw to the left of Jake Allen and it’s po back to the point picked up by Cory KW KW walks the line for Thomas Thomas great shot stop rebound
Score Jordan Kyu side of the net power play goal it’s 3-1 St Louis really smart play by Jordan Kyu to get to this area of the ice it all starts with a one face off it’s a clean
Face off and kyu’s high in the zone goes right down low yoel armia is with him but as the shot comes he’s looking to track the rebound he’s not able to Corral it it’s right
Onto the Stick of Kyu it’s in the back of the net and the St Louis Blues have a 3-1 lead in the first period Kevin Hayes starts the play here’s kessle he worker back to KR Jordan Kyu
Some Pace little bit the Blue Line in still with it shoots and it tickled the bar what a move torp jenko couldn’t take it away from sovi who found Suzuki comes to the line David SAR R shot Pavo bouncing benon there
As slowski nearly jammed it in now on 99 career goals for his NHL campaign Robert Thomas in the corner there’s slowski Thomas with a buck Thomas back door krugen shoots and Allen got a piece tchenko jumps on the ice tchenko trying to take it around the
Net being watched by strubel Ley sends it across pass in front and Tor tle again new hook couldn’t get back to hook but Joshua W on the boards and interrupted by Paro the was steals again pass in
Front neww wait shoots kick stop with Aria he misses on the followup backand feed in front what a chance for Joshua W in tight a great spot that Joshua W puts himself in and Jordan
Benington fights it off with his shoulder Shen to Krug and he lows up that’s high and it bounces to Shen tries to feed the trailer shooting and scoring Nathan Walker buries his fourth and
The blues get a late one in the second it’s 41 right over the pad under the glove and it starts in the neutral zone with the turnover Jaden strubel he’s involved in a battle he doesn’t
Have any help and a shot that hits the bar now Walker comes right off the bench and Allan can’t see that puck not sure if it hits David sard on its way to the net or not he’ll dish it to kyou
Over his stick to SAR PS there tries to wrap it around the boards unsuccessful not endeavor and it comes up to Ley Ley skates the line passes to Thomas rot score 5-1 St Louis power play goal Robert Thomas as he continues an outstanding season for St Louis pretty simple play round up
To the half wall attack downhill fire a shot on the far side of the net this is one Jake Allen would like to have back there’s no St Louis blue player taking away his his eyes there’s Nick
Suzuki a little bit higher in the zone but it’s a good shot by Robert Thomas and St Louis with a 5-1 y armia brings it in for new hook strubel able to power through strubel across Rich shot score
David Zar lets it rip and the Montreal Canadians have some life it’s 5 to2 blue line and he finds his D partner David svard and yel armia gets to the front of the net Matthew kessle doesn’t see
Where he’s going he goes to confront strubel and this Puck goes off armia into the back of the net beats Bennington you can see Bennington points armia right away he knows he has no chance as that puck changes Direction and Y Aria one of those depth players Thomas over the line he’ll
Hand it off neighbors he’ll dish it comes up to crew kyou Tory Krug who’s got a three assist game this afternoon KR Waits the ler shoot bouncing BL behind Jake Allen and they say score coal the high deflection bouncing in behind Allen and it looks like Jake neighbor is the Final
Touch power play formation that we saw earlier in the game from St Louis where it’s two players up high three down near the net it’s a high tip that gets delivered off the Stick of Robert
Thomas and a a puck that goes up in the air Jake neighbors looks like he’s the last one to catch a hold of it as he directs it past Jake Allen he’s a little slow getting back to the post and
Matthew kessle on the [Applause] puck off the boards kyo’s got a little Runway Jordan kyoo he shoots and he missed bouncing pucks out of this score off the boards off Jake gallon and in and if that’s kyu’s goal as they talk about it it’s his 100th career goal Jordan Kyu whose
Shooting percentage has been lower and it has been throughout his career with a nice drag move to the middle of the ice it’s off the end boards off Jake Allen skate and you can see pavl bnic point right to Jordan cyu apparently him and Jake neighbors went to the palas
For the break and I guess he paid off for both those guys worked out all right final seconds on Super Bowl Sunday bton will hold as the St Louis Blues win at the Bell Center in Montreal

Why didn't the Habs pull Allen?
brutal game for Allen. He's going to be tough to move playing like that
It doesn't take much but i am already looking forward to the changes made to this team in the next 5 years. Lots of bad players and no legitimate number one goalie.
Time to send MSL to AHL for a month
Blame Xhekaj for that one too??
Trade Caufield while we can
Play Monty more
Our slovak boy Slafkovsky is one of the best player in Montreal right now. Unfortunetly with one line Montreal can not advance to playoff.
I was at the game. Worst performance from a Habs goalie since Patrick Roy's 9 goal let down & last Habs game. Also this game stunk of refs vs Habs.
Someone call the cops, Jake Allen was abducted and replaced by some sort of pylon.
They should have pulled whoever played in the nets for Montreal this afternoon because it wasn't an NHL goaltender.
The trade value of Allen just went down to….Montreal paying someone to take the guy off their hands.
This game was brutal.
Oh well, another step closer to finishing with the worst record in the NHL this year.
Hey Habs GM, don't pick any more defense men please. The team is in great need for goal scoring studs. Just saying.
Defense was completely loss in the woods of control & effort ? Time to wear the grocery bag , fans .
Blues @ Canadiens
5,6,7 goal of STL 😬
Send struble and Harris down
It's going to be hard to get anything for Allen let alone future considerations
Goodbye Mr Allen
I hate to say it but man o man
Allens looking like he doesn’t give much effs anymore
Good to see Allen still giving upend if period soft goals like he used to for the Blues. Some things never change!
go go go rangers!!! lefranier!
bye bye allen – hopefully
Say what you want about Allen, but you can never take his Cup away.
Being a Habs fan has been tough this year
It appears Allen is still on the St. Louis payroll…
When Binnington’s “ON” he’s incredible!
What a goal by Torop!
A TANK AAAAAAA
Please be a repeat of the 2019' 'post all star game' for the blues!🙏
LOL Rumours are that Allen suffered an upper body injury and is questionable for the next game, he suffered a sun burn in the back of the neck from the red goal light lightning up behind him, we all hope he gets better
too bad the Blues didn't make it 9 – 2 like before, then at least then we could start the conversation that ALLEN HAS TO GO
as soon as I saw him in the net, I knew we were going to lose.
Enough now, move on him.
idk, minors, trade, waivers, cancel the contract.
