[St Louis Blues] When Nathan Walker hit the crossbar in warm-ups before a recent home game, the puck sailed over the glass and hit photography assistant Lexie Knight. Luckily, she has made a full recovery and now has a signed stick (and sweater with out blood) courtesy of The Walkers.
If you’re going to work in hockey, might as well go all in and eat a few pucks to get the respect of the boys. Clearly a team player
Washing blood out of your hair is such a pain in the ass, worth the free merch though, I’d call it a W

Friend of mine caught a line drive to face, broke her orbital socket, and she got jack squat.

She seems pretty chill about it!! And now she’s got a signed stick and a story for her kids lol

That’s rough, and funny in a cosmic sort of way. You know the dangers of photographing hockey players. And you kept at it. Rouge puck decided it didn’t like you, and you survived, came out a bad ass. She earned her job lol. But glad to read she was fine, looking fucking painful
She shouldn’t have been standing there.
Should have got him to sign the blood stained shirt, and frame it
