not judging i just think its funny the bruins flare swapped the bruins with the leafs from the original post
My crack take here is that the Wild have a better chance than Tampa
I dislike the notion that teams who lost in the qualifying round of 2020 still count as “made the playoffs.” Regardless of what the NHL denotes, your streak shouldn’t be intact.
I have emotions about this
Hey we have a streak too…
Oh yeah, now do droughts^:’(
I’m surprised 4 seasons is enough to make this list.
Sad Penguin noises
I would have never guessed Minnesota would be on here lmao
The play-in round should not count as playoffs. If you didn’t make the Final 16, you didn’t make the playoffs.
Obviously, I’m biased here, but it just goes to show how incredible the Wings streak truly was. The Bruins and Leafs are currently the two closest to catching that record… 18 years from now.
Laffs- No Cups since summer of 1967. A Tradition of Failure every Canadian enjoys.
I’m really surprised that it’s only 7 years as the max. The parity in the NHL is pretty amazing.
2020 – Toronto Maple Leafs never made the playoffs.
They lost in the qualifying round. That means they never qualified for the playoffs.
Leafs didn’t make the playoffs covid bubble lost to Bluejackets in qualifiers.
That photo of MacK is terrifying
Feels like yesterday Toronto had the longest non-playoff streak
It’s been challenging being a Habs fan during the last 7 seasons.
Uh…. Sean Couturier??? 12 seasons with Philly? This is dumb.
It crazy that the Bruins missed the playoff two years in a row (coming in 9th in the conference both times) in 14/15 & 15-/6 with 96 & 93 points those years.
The last time they missed the payoffs before then was 06/07.
I think the Wild will lose it first.
Do qualifying rounds count as playoffs?
Or should it just be called post season streak
Kinda wild that the active record is only 7 years..
