I forgot old goalie masks were terrifying looking.
I tried listing them individually, but suffice it to say we just left the era of a lot of great franchise goalies.
I knew Marty had the most and Hank had a lot, but God damn.
Mike Liut pulls that mask out nowadays when negotiations with GMs get tough (he’s an agent for those that don’t know)
Bob is gonna have his name on the Panthers all time wins at some point.
Shocked that Price was numero uno for the Habs with the goalies they’ve had
Martin is a beast!

OG goalie masks are still the stuff of nightmares
On that note, custom team-related designs on goalie helmets is outright the coolest piece of uniform in all of sports
Finally, it’s wild that the Leafs and the Wings haven’t had a goalie beat those records in so many decades while like 1/3rd of the league have in the last 30 years. Especially insane for the Wings given their absolute domination in the 90s-00s

Mike Liut is a Caps goalie in my mind based off of all the 90s hockey cards I had of him with that sweet mask.
What’s weird to me is I’ve seen all but 5 of these guys play during my living memory. 4 if you want to count the time I saw Billy Smith in an NHL alumni game
So many early to mid 2000’s goalies that I absolutely loved.

Holy moly how is Gibson behind giggy?
Crazy fuhr has that many wins in like 9 seasons with edm considering he only played 50+ games twice. He also had 14 assists one year in 45 games lol, there are 2nd liners who cant do that.
And staying on the fuhr rant his picture is black and white on hockeydb…dude played his last game in the year 2000 and doesnt have a color photo.
Really wish Brodeur retired with 22 less wins with the Devils.
