I usually get my signing news from this sub, but I didn’t see any posts about this.
Honestly, I wasn’t holding my breath about him signing. When the trade initially went down there was a lot of noise about Joni perhaps wanting to stay in Finland. Even if he isn’t a huge addition, it’s nice to see.

These kinds of signings never seem to pan out. They come for a year to play in the AHL, realize there is no easy path to the NHL and then go home.
