> InfielderĀ Kevin NewmanĀ opted out of his minor league contract with the Diamondbacks,Ā reportsĀ Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Heās now a free agent and free to sign with any club in need of some infield depth.
I’m a fan of the Espinal deal, but I’m curious if the Newman would want to come back as further depth. Just dunno if he would accept a minors deal if he opted out of this one.
If they hadn’t traded for Espinal, I would absolutely want Newman back, which are words I never, ever thought I would say.
We already have Espinal. Newman is the same thing.
Stop with this āsky if fallingā bs. I really canāt believe this even needs to be said in this sub but Newman isnāt it.
still think itās funny how the guy we traded to get newman started pitching better than he did with us whereas newman did.. uh.. something?
surely thereās something memorable he did here, right?
