Colts GM Chris Ballard defends in-house signings but admits: ‘We need to add’ to secondary
March 27, 2024
Not a whole lot of substance in this article, but there was this quote in regards to secondary players: "We know we need to add," Ballard said. "And there's still some vets out there that we will definitely pay attention to. There's still work to be done."

Sounds to me like this means we go best DB available at 15, unless maybe Bowers if he falls to us
Do it then
Justin Simmons, YOU ARE A COLT.
Ballard must read this sub!
Makes me think he did try to get Sneed and the offer wasn’t big enough.

Why are all these articles using the wording “Defends in-house signings”? As if the popular or correct choice would have been to let all those good players walk. .
I keep getting this feeling that Brents is going to be converted to safety for some reason. It’s really weird they haven’t resigned Blackmon yet
I’m hoping we make a nice veteran signing like Mike Adams or Mike Mitchell. If we can draft someone and give them time to develop.
It’s a shame Blackmon has been derailed by injuries and Khari Willis retired to join the ministry. It felt like we had some decent, young talent there once.
