12th Man Rising: Seahawks receiver Dee Eskridge just got very valuable due to NFL rule change
March 27, 2024
Could this explain why they kept Eskridge? I remember some wondering why they kept him and it was speculated that there might be something the OC and Special Teams coach saw.

All I know is that we need to lock this man up and give him a huge raise!
there are plenty of fast guys that can take advantage of the new kick off rules. I doubt this would be the reason to keep him. There are bound to be 5th round rookies that can take kick offs and be just as fast.
So if i read that correctly, fair catches are kind of a thing of the past? No more getting blown up after catching a kickoff too? It may also incentivize touchbacks for the kicking team.
You mean the guy who in 2022 averaged less yardage on kick returns than a touchback would’ve given us?
Dee is really clutch when it’s 3rd down and we need a screen for -1 yards
