#159-3!
Winning. It cures everything.
Kyle Gibson 20 win season
That was a lot better than the dodgers series. Let’s do this more pls
STRAIGHT DOMINANCE.
155-0 vs everyone but the Dodgers!
Let’s fucking Gibson
4 batters faced on 6 pitches is a pretty silly outing to end the game

Damn Gibby! Gave us exactly what we needed tonight.
Nice all around team win.
What a game
That’s QS Gibson to you.
Crazy what not playing the best team in the league does to your record.
Should be a tougher game tomorrow. Darvish is no joke
1 blown save from a winning record but: DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
I’m not going the other direction and declare this team a contender after only 5 games. But I swear guys this team is a lot more fun to watch if you don’t go in assuming they’re dogshit.
That was an all around enjoyable game for the first time this year…now I just gotta spend the rest of my night hoping these storms don’t kill me
The Cardinals are alive and probably not the worst team in baseball history
Win tomorrow, get to .500, and don’t look back
[we won’t do comment of the game this year, but I’ll still post some highlights of the comments from the thread.](https://x.com/rslashcardinals/status/1775017828963459470?s=46&t=REkJ6LWCiqNiX9P5XyLo5g)
The padres are a pretty good team!
But like, I didn’t feel even a moment of tenseness that whole time. It just felt super easy, and I liked it.
#imagine losing to the fucking cardinals
Whoa whoa whoa, I was assured that Kyle Gibson would fucking suck. He’s how old again? Well, it was against a shit lineup, right..no? The Padres? Well shit, guys.
Oh man, I love what Gibson and Lynn have brought this team in their debuts. Anything can happen the rest of the season, but if you can’t at least think this is a good sign, y’all are a lost cause. That sweeper is a pitch from hell, and every worm in that infield has been beaten to death.
Feeling good from that Gibby start!! Great win for the boys!
I think I owe Arenado an Uncrustable as per pre-GDT agreement.
Fun game, well-played game, well-pitched (WHAT) game.
Linn-Matz-Gibson h8ers where u @
Anyone catch the jump Winn did with Gorman after the final out? Dude went airborne
Feels good to be able to say…

Most complete game thecardinals have played in what feels like a really long time. Can’t expect your starter to go 7 strong every night but Gibson was fantastic, defense was superb, offense hit when they needed to, many guys in the lineup got a hit.
If that is how out #5 pitches all year, we will be in the central race. Actually, our #3, 4, and 5 have all looked great. Past 5 games have shown the starters may be overall improved from last year. Which is good because our bullpen depth is questionable
