this is a team that desperately this off season needs to add a top six Winger and that is exactly what you would be getting you can figure out you know like who he plays with and the mixing and matching of those lines the fact of the matter is this summer a very high priority for some people the highest priority is going to be bringing in a top six forward this is a player in Nikolai Ellers who in seven of his nine NHL seasons has scored 2 plus goals and in almost every single one of those Seasons he at least matches his goal total with assists as well 47 of his 61 points this season came via five on five so he’s not a power play Merchant like this is a guy that everyone always says that Winnipeg’s not using to the fullest of their ability and despite that he’s had good production he gets power play time as well he was third on among Fords on power play the only thing he doesn’t really play his penalty Killers to me it just makes too much sense
