It would have killed thousands of Browns fans for the past two decades from heart attacks alone.
Instead of being able to slowly ease ourselves into disappointment when you find out that John St. Clair is going to be the right tackle, and that’s not good, but maybe they’ll improve elsewhere straight into BOOM, Charlie Frye is starting with nobody to throw to and a shit defense. Finding out how disappointing a season is going to be all at once would be horrible.
