we’re going to go to number seven and the Ottawa Senators and Stephen you’re back on the clock so we now know Macklin celebrating left shov demov SV lindström and Dickinson all gone who’s left for you who’s the best player available for the Ottawa Senators so the OT Senators have some good depth on their left side already they got Jake Sanderson Thomas Shabbat and Jacob Chan which is why it kind of pushed me away from Z buam at first but I I think I’m going to just go with perek and I just think the fact that he’s such a run and Gun fun Prospect who could score put up those points and I feel like has improved his defensive play over the past year that’s you know if Jake Sanderson is the the future of your team on the left side because we have heard the rumors about shabab we’ve heard the rumors of CH and if you’ve got you know you’ve got Sanderson on the left side and you throw perk on the right side whether it be the top pairing or the second pairing you’ve got a defenseman who’s just so Dynamic with the puck and I love guys like that he is the most SK defenseman in this draft and it’s a you know again a bit risky because he’s not as defensively inclined as maybe some of the other options still on the board here but with an Ottawa Senators team that is looks like they’re trying to build a skill group I think him he would fit in perfectly here and I feel he’s gonna be a star he’s a fun kid always smiling having a good time I think Senators fans are gonna like him out there I think you’re right I I you know I I just feel like you know ottawa’s searching for um you know that that player that you know they’re still they still need to get over the hump they’ve got core pieces in stla and Sanderson and you know so many other guys that that have come in there and and and made a made an impact but what they you know what they don’t really have is this style of defenseman and and we can don’t have to look too far back in the in the past to know that the Senators had some of their P years with a defenseman that H is offensively inclined and perek I mean he is he is a special player and I think that makes a lot of sense for them

  1. Sens have zero depth on either wing in their system. I think they go with Iginla or at the very least swap picks with Calgary, and get Weeger back as a piece in what will be a blockbuster trade. It'd go a long way in solving their right D issue, then probably draft the best forward at number 9 and give him time to develop
