  2. Not that the first 6 really matter, but not naming Hellebuyck is unbelievably silly. He won his 2nd Vezina yesterday.

  7. INTERESTING! No goalie is shocking considering it’s probably our strongest overall position. I was spot on with my picks outside of Charlie McAvoy being swapped with Hellebuyck.

    This is a strong as hell lineup with ALL these guys being relatively young and/or at their atheltic peak, among these 6 is what a 3-4 year draft window? Amazing. Cannot wait!!

  19. Why not just announce Brady and Jack now? They’re both clearly making the team and announcing them with their brothers seems like an easy marketing win. I guess it doesn’t really matter what order they announce guys in though. For the US team at least most of the team is pretty obvious. The interest will come in the last 4 or 5 players announced.

  23. The first time in my life I can look at a US roster and say with a straight face they could win a best-on-best tournament with NHL players involved. Canada’s got the premier forward talent, but I’m excited about the US blueline and goaltending.

  24. Any team is beatable in one game but I think that USA is going to be the most complete roster in the tournament. They really don’t have an area of weakness.

  26. Adam Fox and Quinn Hughes is going to slap so hard I’m worried TV sets across the world will simply implode from greatness.

  27. I know the team is stacked but I wish we could see Kane play one more time for USA. Probably doesn’t make sense to do unfortunately with all the forward talent available

  33. For the life of me, I can’t ever seem to remember Matthews is American. Maybe it’s just that he plays in Toronto … but I always forget he’s American. Caught off guard every damn time.

  34. Ttachuk bros being together laying hits on the same opponent is must see. This team is loaded and Canadas roster is looking pretty insane.

  37. I wanna see how the rest of the roster comes together, especially in the net, but this is a strong start.

  41. These kinds of rosters make me sad the US didn’t get legitimate Olympic chances in 18 and 22. Think of the guys who hit their peaks in those 8 years and could’ve helped them win gold.
