Did The Washington Commanders Find Their Franchise TE? Ben Sinnot
yo what is up guys it’s Pedro here and in today’s video I’ll be talking about Ben C and if the Washington commanders have found themselves the next George KD or at least maybe their own George KD and another comparison that I think fits a little better for him that also played on the 49ers so if you guys are new make sure to subscribe hit that like button and that notification Bell as well so you never miss a video all righty so let’s go ahead and talk about benenson at the Washington Commander number 5 or the number 53 overall pick in the 2024 draft the commander fourth draft pick in this class they drafted obviously jayen Daniels at two they got Johnny Newton in the second round then you got Mike sander still still in the uh second round and then you got Ben Sate Ben Senate uh I’ve heard Senate I’ve heard Senate uh I’ll get it right when uh when I need to I’ll get it right but the Washington commanders drafted tight end at a position of need and hey Adam Peters was there when they drafted George KD could this be their own George KD maybe there’s another player again I talked about an intro that I think fits a little bit better of the comparison but I think this is a good you know I’m going to trust Adam Peters on this one I really do like what I’ve seen from uh Ben so far or at least what I’ve like read about him and some of the highlights I’ve watched does not go down easily uh again very hard to get him down he’s more agile than you would think and he is an athletic just Monster if you look at his numbers outstanding let’s look at is R scor 9.73 33rd out of 1,00 tight ends from 1987 to 2024 and obviously the tight ends have been more athletic recently so you know it but still 33 is still insane uh from 1987 to 202 for his size is what brings the score down his weight is pretty you know it’s not great 250 and he’s not even 6’4 which is not great for a tight end again you see it that that’s what brings down the score everything else though is very very good um hand size is is good 9.5 or I guess yeah I don’t know if this this contributes to the score but vertical leap 40 in is absolutely insane for a tight end 40 in there’s not many receivers in the league that have a 40in vertical I don’t know off the top of my head but I’m thinking like let’s say starting receivers in this league maybe 10 15 guys have a 40-in vertical that is it it really doesn’t get much better than that uh he might have the highest out of any tight end and then broad jump 9.72 is what like his composite score SC was guess 10 fish was what he got 40 yard dash 468 which is good it’s not like amazing amazing but it’s a solid time it’s a solid time like there’s some receivers that are getting you in that range not great receivers but I mean there’s some like Antonio Brown and Keen Allen that ran slow but for the most part the good receivers are running 44 but 468 is still good and then the 20 yard 10 yard split were good the three cone absolutely amazing 6.82 and the shuttle was good as well I mean just off the charts and here’s another kind of chart looking at it his height and weight are what really brings his like measurables down I guess but the the 20 yard shuttle three cone drill broad jump vertical jump uh are all very very good and the 40 yard dash is still good 10 yard split is good as well and this this stuff is what brings him down but everything he can control he has got it maxed close to maxed out and the other stuff I don’t think it’s a huge hu huge deal that you know his hands might be a little bit smaller uh his wings spin might be a little bit smaller because you know I think he’s shown in college that he’s able to do a lot of this stuff at the highest level let’s go over some notes on him and then you know some other information as well and one thing that I realized I think someone putting out I think bleeding bleeding bergy and gold or someone else put it out out there stun of that Ben cinate and Luke mcaffrey they both were the main guys in college on their team so a lot of the attention was forced you was you know on them and obviously they’re going to get more look they’re going to get more attempts and targets as well but still when you got all the attention on you that is not great and you’re forced to be that guy and at the next level obviously there’s going to be better people going up against you but you’re not going to be getting the number one guys on which is good so versatility this is what Nick ACD says from PFF who’s a commander you know guy does a lot of commanders content versatility line up in the backfield inline tight end and in the slot super athletic quick and surprisingly Twitchy for his size a good effort as a blocker uh the consistency isn’t there and that’s that’s what the coaching is there for so the comparison that Nick had for him is Kyle use Che in terms of how he could possibly use and I would say a more athletic KY use check again his 40 yard dash time solid and the the vertical leap I I still can’t get past that 40 in vertical leap he’s good at contested catches and you I’m not surprised by that considering has a 40 in vertical let’s look over his draft profile here on NFL Network and they’re doing some lawn work right behind me so I’m sorry about that um but you look at his uh stats right here uh you see everything there we went over that uh he was projected to go rounds three to four so maybe we reached a little bit but I I’m trusting Adam Peters on this one so was a walk- on which you love to see a walk on and ending up you know making the team even though we had an offer at South Dakota played in 12 games two starts his you know or 2021 had a you know a little injury 2022 is a solid year uh 14 games 31 catches 447 yards and four touchdowns got that scholarship good for him and then 2023 third Team Associated Press All-American uh First Team all Big 12 Conference list as fullback because of blocking ability led the team with 676 receiving yards 49 receptions six uh receiving touchdowns started 12 games also a good blocker as well and um just the versatility he can do a lot of different things uh we’ll go and read his overview athletic F tight end with ability to add value in the passing game and handle some blocking duties in space former walkon added 40 lbs to his frame without losing speed or agility so maybe he can add some more without losing speed or agility he’s an adequate route Runner with a quickness to compete against man covered in all three levels and to get additional yards after the catch we talked about that his Yak ability is insane he’s quick but he’s also stronger than you would think for his size or his weight like 250 64 like again a lot of the other tight ends are usually like 66 260 270 he’s able to break through Bunch tackles he also can do some hurdles and stuff he lacks NFL physicality to hold up on the blocking or hold up on blocking duties near the line he needs to prove he can play with quicker stronger hands a pass catcher C is a day three talent but his NFL Journey could be determined by whether he can get just a little bit better in All Phases so he’s a little bit lower that on you know sen than where he got drafted but hey it is what it is I I think he has some good potential I don’t want to get too ahead of myself I know the title says George KD just trying to get some eyes on the video but you know it it does matter a little bit because you know Adam Peters was with the 49ers when they drafted George KD I think a fifth round pick they drafted Charlie Warner too I believe in the seventh round not a stop but a solid solid player for the 49ers and a good seventh round pick so this is a guy to keep an eye out for he’s going to be playing behind Zack hers so I mean maybe he’ll start maybe he could be a Sam pora type player in year one but I think he’ll play behind Zack Herz and that’s good getting a year behind a guy that’s you know might be a Hall of Famer if not is I mean he might not be a Hall of Famer but he’s he’s one of the better tight ends of this last generation like besides grank and Kelsey and like those guys like he’s in that and like Antonio Gates like he’s in that second tier probably of guys so uh you know it’s a good guy for sure to sit back behind and learn him learn the or learn behind him learn the offense and I think it’ll be good for him and this year you know the expectations shouldn’t be too high like we don’t need him to have set 00 800 yards that would be amazing but I think if he can get you 400 yards and a touch a couple touchdowns that would be good and then next year like okay this guy’s going to be tight end one and we’re going to try to get him 6 700 yards and hope the you know the goal is having him as a stud tight end a pro bowl tight end that’s the goal but minimum a good starter that uh will be here for a while I think that that would be good as well I’m going to trust Adam Peters on this one seems high on the guy and drafted him in the second round and I think the biggest takeways with him he’s an really athletic guy and I know the title has George KD in it I would say the biggest like similarities is just the ability to get Defenders off of him and keep going like I mean George KD obviously does it at a different level but you know you see Ben you watch some of those highlights and it there was one highlight there’s like nine guys trying to take him down they still couldn’t take him down they just had to blow the play dead so this guy is stronger than he looks I want to see if what he got in the bench press he didn’t he didn’t bench so not sure why he did everything else but he’s a strong guy sure his legs are strong too because he’s able to keep going even when everyone’s uh trying to get him down so it’s a guy I’m excited about and let’s hope he ends up being a good contributor this year for the commanders and it was I think it’s a solid pick at a position of need and I think he has more Talent than maybe uh Zer Lin’s giving him credit for but yeah that’s it for today’s video hope you guys did enjoy if you did hit that like button subscribe if you guys new and peace

These fluff pieces have gone insane… your vids are fine. I get it.. but these fluff pieces are insane
HELL NO….but thank you so much for asking
It's ok to find good quality players. But personally. I'm sick and tired of these underachieving players. Like St. Just. J Davis. Emmanuel Forbes. Etc. We not going far with players like this !!!
I watched film on him. He’s gonna be a good TE. I just wished he wore #47. Chris Cooley like his game too. I think he may be a replica of Cooley. Let’s Go Burgundy & Gold.
I think he will be a good TE
We've heard almost nothing about Sinnott since OTAs. The measurables are cool but you have to produce against players that's not even going to be in the league once the season starts and they aren't even contacting yet.
6'6" and 260lbs. isn't bigger than 6'4" and 250lbs. Every inch adds 5 to 10lbs so Sinnott would be about 270lbs. at 6'6". His height hurts his catching radius but it helps in getting low and under the pads. He's like a fire hydrant compared to most TEs and he's a good size for a fullback.
