you know looking forward to to being a Boston breu like I said and uh looking forward to get getting going and and with the pursuit last summer was were you close at all to signing was you know in the ballpark yeah I mean I think there was a few different teams interested obviously but um yeah Boston was definitely definitely up there and um you know you know coming from the miners and um you know I was a fourth line player and uh for the Texas Stars and the Dallas Stars so um you gotta kind of put that into play and then playing for Colorado last year I was more of a top six guy and then the miners I was playing first line all year so um you know kind of kind of done both of those roles for sure thank you go to mava tour hey Riley sometimes um sometimes bigger guys take a little bit long to longer to develop you feel like you’re still kind of taking steps forward to to what your kind of your finished product can be when when when you’re at at at the peak of your NHL career yeah for sure um you know I think you hit it on the head there um I think especially me being uh 66 and a bigger guy um I think definitely it’s taken a little bit to for me to grow in my game um I think I found that program um every year I’ve gotten better every year um not only as on the stat line but um you know just kind of finding my role and stuff so um it’s been it’s been amazing uh last four or five years of pro and um you know looking forward to obviously being a br Boston Bruin and uh you know it’s going to be it’s going to be awesome but yeah I think it’s it’s a process for me as a big guy and I think I’m taking huge steps you feel like it’s something kind of learning how to use your body against competition at level yeah for sure um yeah exactly I think you know especially like I said being a bigger guy you gota kind of you know you know find it a little bit and uh find your game and I think I’ve done that the last two years for sure um you know and I’m looking forward to to you know like I said being a boss and breu and seeing what they have in store for me and developing there thank you yep we good Scott mlin hey Riley uh along those lines Don Sweeney told us that Brun Scouts had identified you as as a player who had taken real strides the last two years especially uh in your mind what what were those strides that you’ve been able to take um you know I think uh you know just finding my game finding that confidence in my game and uh you know just really going out there and and trying to protect pox Down Low T into the net and use my size I think that’s the biggest thing is just using my size and uh learning how to do that against the the high competition so um got my little one-year-old back there but yeah it’s it’s been it’s been amazing so far so we’ll take our last question from Maric cruso hey Riley just um what kind of connections might you have to any ruins players or the city of Boston and and what do you know about the city and the team and and just your general takeaways yeah um you know I know the original 16 obviously and um one second um original 16 I know Tren Frederick uh Jeremy San I’ve played with both of those guys um you know my buddy Carson kman who I played with in college played there um no it’s been a it’s been an awesome team the last few years and um have a few buddies from out there too so they’re pretty com
