Kart Eagle fans you are not the Cowboys there are moves to be made there are free agents to sign there are veterans who want to find a team you are the Eagles and hoe Roseman is not done yet Dallas still stinks yo do way K ding B here and hope everybody’s having a great Fourth of July weekend and being the fact that the 4th of July is behind us that means training camp is right around the corner and that means the veteran free agents who are still out there are going to start to get serious about where they want to end up this year and if you’re an eagle fan you should be the happiest person on Earth you should be joyful happy double moon walking be because you’re not a Cowboy fan and that means the Eagles still have moves to be made there are players to sign trades to go down and you know hoe Roseman is not done yet it’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when and who just think CJ Gardner Johnson they traded him on August 30th okay that’s a really late time to go out and trade for a player during preseason but my point is just simply this they’re not done yet Howie is going to make moves who that’s what we’re going to talk about especially who not named Justin Simmons because we know Justin Simmons remains probably the number one guy on everybody’s short list but who else could be out there now there’s some interesting names being floated around uh one of the articles that I read uh that made me want to do this video was a article in Bleach report talking about six players who could possibly be traded by their team to contenders the team is looking to rebuild one way or the other or they’re looking to get rid of older guys who may be at the end of their at the end of the rope and one of the guys that they brought up one of the names was khil Mack now khil Mack has been a great player for a long long time there is no question about it uh me personally I’m not so sure I would do this for the right price real cheap fine however khil Mack is 33 years old and I get Robert Quinn Vibes with khil Mack and I don’t say that in a bad way it’s just that he’s 33 years old and he’s been around a long time and he’s coming off a 17 sack season uh that’s ridiculous how many years can he have that um let let me read what bleach report wrote or some of what they wrote about C Mack and then you tell me does this not have Robert Quinn Vibes or am I just am I just reacting to the to the what they’re saying Wrong by quote by electing not to trade C Mack might have been a mistake the Chargers will want to rectify during the season Mack was highly productive last season racking up 17 sacks and 71 pressures at thir 33y old Mack is reminiscent of Robert Quinn in 2021 the veteran passer rusher had 18 and a half sacks at age 31 uh with the Bears the team went 6 and 11 rather than trade him to a contender in the off season they brought him back and ended up trading him to the Eagles for a fourth round pick the Chargers might be hoping for a quick turnaround under Jim Harbor but it still would have made sense to deal Mack now while his value is likely as high as it will get they go on to say basically make it sound like the Chargers are um they’re they’re kind of wishing they didn’t go that route uh if you could get C Mack cheap I I I would be totally okay with it obviously uh but I do worry about his age I mean did was his was last year his last harah is he going to go from 17 sa to like two we don’t need that kind of fall from gra From Grace if you told me that you could get CLE Mack and I it would guarantee you seven seven plus sacks 7 to n 7 to 10 sacks I I would be um very willing to do it uh but you would also have to trade for C Mack what would they want there may be other options out there who are cheaper and who are free agents and don’t get me wrong I’m not saying I wouldn’t like them or I would have a problem with I wouldn’t but uh the age does concern me maybe I’m a little scarred about getting Robert Quinn and having him do nothing but um I think the Chargers probably should have traded him and got something for him uh they probably could have got a lot um one other name that has come back and been linked to the Eagles now this guy was not in the article but he’s been linked to the Eagles uh and that is Emanuel agba okay he’s another guy and I should say this khil Mack played with Vic Fango he knows Vic fangio well so that could be a big thing and reason why CLE Mack might be good fit with the Eagles and like I said I would have no problem with it but there are other options one I specifically prefer more than anybody that we’ll talk about in in a little bit here but Emanuel agba is another name here here is what has been read or said about Emanuel agba who is being linked to the Eagles as a possible uh Perfect Fit scenario Emanuel ogba has been productive and versatile as a Defender during his eight years career with the Cleveland Browns Chiefs and dolphins Abba has rushed opposing quarterbacks as linebacker and defensive end while he’s never recorded a 10 sack season he’s had several strong Seasons a high-end complimentary pick the Philadelphia Eagles would be a logical fit for ogba largely because they now employ his 2023 defensive coordinator Vic fangio in the same role after replacing Hassan reick with Bryce Huff the Eagles don’t don’t lack pass rushers but the rotation could still use a boost they recorded only 43 sacks as a team last year after racking up a league High 70 now I I got to tell you um I I think the Eagles have a lot of talent a lot of good young pass rushers what we’re hearing about Nolan Smith is he’s gained strength he’s gained size and it’s looking like he is really primed for a breakout season and if you get production from Nolan Smith or Bryce Huff uh this is all it’s G to be fine you’re going to be good I’m very excited by the way to see what Nolan Smith does I’m expecting big big things from him and what they’re saying is he looks like he’s ready and poised to have a breakout year so we have to keep that in mind now let me just say this too about going out and getting one of these pass rushers like khil Mack or agba um these guys are a little bit older and you got got to wonder why would the Eagles go out and bring in an older guy when they could have just kept Hassan reic well I only think you really do it is if you feel like you’re not getting uh enough from some of these young guys and like we just said about Nolan Smith I expect him to have a breakout year and huff so maybe the best course of action with a pass rusher is to wait as long as you possibly can maybe even up to the trade deadline and if there was one guy that you’re going to pick or one guy I’m going to go after after it’s not going to be KH ma or agba it’s going to be Matthew judon of the New England Patriots I think he’s the best fit for the Eagles to come in right away I think he still can be highly productive I still think he can play at a high level and uh he could help you at least for one year in that rotation uh he was on that list that Bleacher Report did although it wasn’t connected with the Eagles but here’s what they said about him the New England Patriots don’t have a quick fix that will Elevate them from their four and 13th finished last season remember they got a 4 and13 team they’re rebuilding why do they want to keep him trade him now uh the offensive coaching might improve but The Supporting Cast around rookie quarterback Drake May isn’t going to make them a threat right away the defense was decent last season and they still only won four games this is going to be a multi-year rebuild even if Jared mayo and his staff are right on the guys for the job or the right for right guys for the job uh so basically they’re they’re not going anywhere anytime soon Matthew dudon is getting older why not trade them I think they probably will I think he’s a perfect you know trade deadline type guy and he’s a guy that I would prefer over anybody like I said I don’t mind C Mack I I don’t want to say that I would mind because I don’t but there are other options and if I had to choose one of course it would it it would be uh uh judan no doubt about it um there’s another guy that wasn’t on this list at all that we should talk about because his name keeps coming up with the Eagles and it’s not Justin Simmons okay X eagle Seahawk Superstar is available Eagles are the prime landing spot uh and they’re talking about Jamal Adams now we we’ve heard a lot a lot about the eagles need for a safety uh we’ve heard it over and over again um I think they could use another safety if it’s specifically Justin Simmons uh or somebody that would upgrade over Reed blankin ship or then I I would just sit there and I would put uh Cooper Dee at safety and let him play but you think of a guy like Justin Simmons with CJ Garner Johnson that would be a hell hell of a secondary and hell of a group of safeties uh but Jamal Adams is still a guy out there now I got to tell you as just a safety I’m not interested in it but if he can play some linebacker and he can move him around in certain situations that may work okay here’s what they said uh here’s what the article said about Adams being a good fit for the Eagles the Eagles still have a need of safety and there are some players out there who could help fill the need in free agency Philly has the money needed to stop and make a major move make a major move and one of the top players remaining is free agent safety former jet Seahawks Superstar Jamal Adams Adams has appeared in just 10 games over the last two seasons but he is just 28 years old and if he’s healthy he could return to for in 2024 he’s still young has plenty of upside and likely wouldn’t cost much because of injuries over the last few years Philadelphia has a need at safety and Adams was an allpro in each season from 2018 to 2020 Adams is looking for his next opportunity and will likely end up settling for a one-year deal for cheap as he looks to re build value he he could be a a interesting fit for the Eagles because if you bring him in and and let’s say you get creative with him you put him at times at linebacker you let him Blitz even though they’re probably not going to Blitz a lot but I think if fangio could find a way to just not use him as a safety but uh you know get him down in the Box let him play like a linebacker at times I think I think that wouldn’t be a bad deal especially like on passing down now he scares the hell out of me I’m not going to lie when it comes to uh pass coverage I don’t think he’s good at pass coverage I think he’s going to have a problem with wide receivers but let’s say on passing Downs you can bring him in as a rot almost like a rotational linebacker something to that effect I would do it if you could Blitz them or or something like that do it you know have them in on first down yeah I I I don’t mind it especially cheap my preference is to go out and move Cooper dein to SA or get Justin Simmons those would be my preferences but he could be a nice cheap option that if the Eagles are imagin have any sort of imagination they may be able to put him in certain situations that he could be very effective with this team just my thoughts these are some of the names that are out there besides Justin Simmons who would you sign that’s what I want to know uh with that said I will see you guys on Monday I’m going to take the rest of the weekend off and chill out uh uh with that take care talk to you   8. Hey Philly… Judon wants too much money for us to sign him and Ogbah has been with 3 teams in the last 8 seasons, so that might be a locker room issue there, not sure!!!! I do agree with you about Nolan Smith having a break out season and so is Huff but don't forget about the rookie Hunt, I think he's gonna have a chip on his shoulder!!! You should go listen to Thomas Mott/The Philly Special when they had Brandon Graham on and what he said about Nolan and Fangio as well as the rookies

  20. if we don’t move dejean to safety i still think we need another safety to go next to cjgj i like reed but he hasn’t proven to be a full time starter in my eyes yet so i’d like to sign justin simmons. i’d like mitchell and slay start outside rodgers in the slot and dejean and cjgj at safety

  24. I honestly would prefer Judon. He's coming off a torn bicep, but I'd be more worried about a lower body injury. Living in CT, I'm forced to see a lot of NE games, and the guy is a player. Major disruptor and just brings consistent pressure with Uche being the only other dude around him to generate pressure. Think he'd be a great fit in the Fangio system. Averaging .86 sacks a game over the last 3 seasons. Reddick has averaged .76 and Mack .75 over the last 3. Now, Judon played only 4 games last year, but he was on pace for a monster season.

  25. Hard "NO" on Jamal Adams. He looks seriously washed and can't stay on the field anymore. He had 9.5 sacks in 2020 (incredible for a safety), and….has gotten ZERO since. He has 4 career INTs. No, thank you.

  35. The thing about Judon is he is similar in some ways to a Reddick which is something we need to replace . Although Reddick gets more sacks, Judon is not a one trick pony and he can do more than just rush the passer, which Fangio would like. He is very good against the run, and can get into space- especially covering the boundary on his side . I would go all in for Judon

  45. Make a trade for JOK or Trade for Hendrickson those 2 guys would solidify our Defense over Night. Out of all the guys you mentioned JUDON. Been a massive fan of Judon and Van Noy from the patriots for years. Yes Judon is older but the guy is a Player and has been a staple of the pats defense and always shows up…….. We Know what the Boot means don't we 500? 😆

  48. We already have enough people on our team. We already might have to cut some of the players we dont want to really get rid of and adding other guys will definitely make us lose those people. We need to work with what we have and we’ve got a lot to work with now.
