  1. Damn was excited to see what he could do for a full season… if continued to hit in Salem, then it would have been a huuuge jump in his timeline/development.

  2. this really sucks… his scouting report is basically “kid has lightning hands that can hit anything.” some prospect guys have him as a breakout candidate for this year, could’ve seen him making a leap to top 50ish prospect even though the other tools aren’t all that good.

    fracture in the hand doesn’t seem ideal for a guy whose only real calling card is his hands.

    at least he’s already got a million in the bank so he’ll be alright either way, but i hope this is on the lesser end of what hamate injuries can look like and it delays, but doesn’t derail, his development.
