Golden Knights and Cooper Roofing & Solar Donate Roof to Woman in Need 💛
from day one the golden knights have been entrenched in the Las Vegas community and we pride ourselves on partnering with with companies and organizations that are like-minded Cooper Roofing and solar Scott and Cameron Donnelly were insistent that we include something in our partnership that included giving back to the community we were able to Source this recipient of the the roof donation from the vgk foundation who led us to help of Southern Nevada Michelle is in dire need of multiple improvements to her home but none of which could be addressed until she had a new roof it’s been an ongoing project for a few months now and we’re excited and and fortunate to have all the parties here that played a piece in it we’ve got um Daniel with the inspection company same day environmental we have folks from GCA environmental the asbest abatement company and Abby and Ashley here from help of Southern Nevada we started with Michelle at the at her home through our weatherization program and when we came and did our assessment we noticed that there was a lot of Ro damage possible asbest so here we are today with Vegas Golden Nights foundation and they have friends with Cooper Roofing and she’s getting a new roof and it’s awesome we’ve been working in town for a long time and we really like being able to put give back to the community and it’s great to be able to do it with the Vegas golden kns typically this is about a 5-day project but this one’s probably going to take a little longer because of the amount of uh replacement wood and uh that we have to do it’s 100% donated by by us everything labor material everything Cooper ruing called me and said uh hey Dan we need a survey of a roof I said sure no problem and uh I had been talking to Scott and he said uh you know we’re going to do this for the Vegas golden kns foundation and I said well I’d like to be included in doing that for free I’d donate my services my material told them you know hey if we can get an abatement company then we can really get this you know help these people out par is always grateful that that we’re taken into account to help someone because that the company focus a lot on that helping other people helping persons like this like Michelle that she needs help every time that she calls me and tells me oh my God thank you so much it’s like no don’t got to thank me you got thank everybody that is involved in here cuz everybody’s just a puzzle where where we can come together and make this happen they did an amazing job they replaced my entire roof which was quite a job and it was I’m not going to cry it was Meed badly and I was in a situation where I I couldn’t do it myself um I didn’t have the funds and my health wouldn’t allow me to do certain things um it was it was like a miracle for Me Maybe to some people it’s just a r but to us changed his lives
