REPORT: Jordan Addison Arrested for Alleged DUI in Los Angeles

all right so this is just frustratingly stupid it really is so Jordan Addison uh seconde Vikings wide receiver all the talent in the world but so the Los Angeles Daily News reporting uh this former USC receiver Jordan Addison now with the Vikings arrested near LAX for alleged DUI right and and of course everything’s alleged details are still coming in but I mean at at face value getting a du allegedly getting a DUI a week after one of your teammates and and two other Souls were killed by a drunk driver come on man come on all right so this are the details from the Los Angeles Daily News uh former USC W wide receiver in current Minnesota vik star Jordan Addison was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after being caught asleep at the wheel near LAX authorities said Sunday the California Highway Patrol was dispatched around 11:10 p.m. Friday to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking Lanes from the westbound Glenn all Glenn Anderson 105 freeway to Northbound sepulvida Boulevard according to a CHP statement officers responding to the area report of white Rolls-Royce blocking the number one lane of the freeway uh with the the driver asleep behind the wheel according to CHP Addison 22 was arrested sat at approximately 11:36 p.m. after a DUI investigation was complete uh he was released at 1:36 a.m. Saturday the CHP uh added so I don’t know like don’t know all the details more will come in uh but yeah like I said at face value asleep behind the wheel near an onramp n come on come on of course yeah Addison this is second off season in a row where Addison’s uh done something very stupid with a vehicle last year I was going to Buck 40 in in a 55 um eventually pleed guilty of that charge gave up his license uh you know apparently got his license back but this is just bad uh and of course yeah we talked about with the whole Kyrie Jackson thing where driving while drunk or intoxicated it’s extremely selfish because you’re not just taking your own life in your hands you’re affecting everyone else and the fact that like we said everything’s alleged at this point but the fact that a week after one of your teammates and two and two other Souls were killed by what looks to be a drunk drunk driver come on man come on so you know it’s super frustrating and Addison during the off seasons has not shown the best decision- making when it comes to Vehicles so I don’t know maybe he should lose his license for a an extended period of time and I like this is going to be a test for Vikings leadership as well number well first off number one Addison has to take ownership of the situation and be like I need to stop making mistakes I need to stop doing stupid things like this that’s first and foremost and second of all this is a good this is a test for Vikings ownership you you look at okell you look at quacy you look at your team captains like Justin Jefferson uh who has taken on a bit of a mentor role for Jordan Addison like they have to they they have to get after him and understand and make him understand that this is not acceptable with this organization you what you tolerate is the standard and if you tolerate him making stupid mistake after stupid mistake that’s the standard and then all of a sudden the culture starts slipping all of a sudden it’s acceptable for everyone else to be making these idiotic mistakes as well so they got he has to have a come to Jesus moment like they have to make him understand that this will not be tolerated with this organization and Addison needs to take ownership of the situation as well and be like I need to stop making these stupid ass mistakes especially one like the alleged DUI just so soon after you know K Kyrie was killed it’s just unacceptable and and frustrating because you know Addison like he doesn’t seem like a bad kid and he’s very talented but I don’t know like two off seasons in a row and also the timing of this one and severity of this one just dumb absolutely idiotic and can’t have that anymore uh but Less near your thoughts uh Jordan Addison uh reportedly arrested for an alleged DUI in Los Angeles uh yeah let us know

  14. Character matters. Kwesi has continued to pick young men who make poor off the field decisions ie. Addison and Jackson. The problem is you are in it to win it until you're out carousing at 3 am. (like Jackson) or drunk driving.(like Addison). Kwesi , talent and athleticism aren't the only things that matter!

Driving a $500k car but you don't have the sense to pay for a driver to shuttle you around while you're blitzed…2 weeks after your teammate was killed by a drunk driver? Oh, and a fellow NFL WR is going to prison for wiping out a woman and her dog a few years ago while driving drunk. The boneheaded stupidity almost overtakes any reason to keep you on the team. You've played 1 year, bro, and already you've proven you can't even be trusted to drive a car. I swear this team is cursed.

  18. So stupid. These players have a very short window to play football and have a good career and make life changing money. There's no excuse to drive drunk, the team will have someone come and pick you up no matter where you are. You'd think he learned his lesson last year

All the different options NFL teams have in place at your disposal in case you’re in a situation, you can make one call and the organization will send someone to come pick you up , so immature

  27. Sometimes people have to learn lessons for themselves, if last week wasnt a wake up call I dont know what is. JJ is beast but hes still young, they need a veteran presence thats respected to keep these youngins in check.
