hello I’m Jeff Ellis lockon MLB draft expert and co-host of lockon Guardians and this is an MLB draft player profile next up we’re going to go to the fifth player on my board who is Nick CTS he’s the seventh rated player on the mlb.com board Nick CTS was in that discussion to be one of the top players in the class at the start of the year he did miss some time due to injury and also had a slow start before that but he came on strong as the year went on he had one of the lowest Chase rates in the country had excellent contact and high-end exit velocities he’s your prototypical first baseman where there’s a chance for a guy to have plus hit and plus power maybe even more than that he’s the complete package wake has not had the most success when it comes to producing hitters so far they’ve been mostly known for their pitching but Nick ctz looks to be the guy to really maybe change that put them on the map and become that centerpiece player for a team hitting in the middle of the lineup very soon
