It looks to be a game used, autographed stick from non other than the great Jean-Sebastien Giguere, I'm guessing from his days playing for the Calgary Flames. Can anyone confirm?

  1. can’t confirm but don’t know why those writings would be there otherwise 🤷🏻 imo u do have a gem of a find my brother

  2. Looks legit. He used that style of stick and wore #47 when he was with Calgary. Very cool find.

  3. Even if it’s NOT real, at $6.99 I’d buy it.

Giguère with the second best goalie story ever, winning the Conn Smythe in 2003, then getting his name on the Cup in 2007. I remember watching that Cup clinching game and thinking you cannot argue with that MVP, he was just unbelievable.

Only story cooler is Dryden winning the Conn Smythe, then winning the Calder the next season.

  4. Did this goalie play for the original Hartford Whalers? Name looks familiar.

Congrats on your pick up ! ! !

  5. Does anyone know what he needed to get into the Hall? I always thought he was one of the best of the era.

  6. I’d buy that hands down. Then go change the world with it (like the Vandals told me to).😎

  7. Wow, Giggy! Or as Don Cherry would say, [Ga-gair]. 😂

Great find! I always loved the look of Koho sticks. So clean and classical.

  8. I managed to find a game used Tom Barrasso stick at a yard sale for $1. They had no idea what it was and the son had been using it on the driveway. The buttend still had the original tape job with the cross that Barrasso always drew on it.

  9. $7 yeesh you’d think the obvious signature on the blade might’ve given them a clue lol

  10. Unfortunately there will be no way to know for sure if it was game used without some kind of paperwork.

that doesn’t mean he didn’t use it, but you just don’t know if it’s one of a dozen sticks he used for practice, warmups, games, etc.

Regardless for $7 buy it and display it. doesn’t matter if you can track it to a specific game because it probably is one of his sticks used in some capacity.
