  1. Cade to show that he is the franchise…. Ivey and Duren to show if there worth extenions next summer and two corner stones for the future…. and its no knock on Cade… but how great the Pistons in the future is directly tied to how great he is…. I've said for 2 plus years he's a smaller Larry Bird ceiling… now its time for him to show the world.

  2. Ivey won't be in Detroit by the end of next season. He's not what Cade needs. Ivey needs to run his own offense. So unless that's their plan to bring him off the bench to run the 2nd team, he won't be here.

  3. Kind of not their fault. A year of young player development was totally wasted due to having a shitty coach. Monty Williams put them in a hole they now have to dig themselves out of. Shame on him.

  4. Ku hating on Jaden Ivey once again

J.I should not be on this list being that he faced the most turmoil out of anyone on the pistons this past season for no reason at all after a all rookie campaign his 1st year, also led the team to some of the few wins they actually did have being the focal point of offense this past season

Cade just got paid the richest deal in franchise history and was at the head of a 28 game losing streak and the worst record in franchise history he has more than a lot to prove

Ausar should be on this list given how high Ku thinks of him and how he bashes Ivey and Duren in their 2nd year every chance he could

Ausar is the only one out of core to not make a rookie team or get invited to rising stars while leading the league in airballs with 23 on the season and horrid shooting splits of 18% from 3 and 59% from ft line as a modern wing. With additions of Fred Vinson he has to take a leap offensively or he could be traded especially being Trajan just drafted his own guy in Ausars same position

  5. Ausar is probably the only guy I need to see improvement. He needs to prove he can shoot better than my grandma from the FT line and 3pnt line. Mr. half of 3&D is dragging this team down on offense. Nobody guards him and he also has Holland, Hardaway, Tobias and Klintman looking to eat up his minutes now and in the future. Its an offensive league and if you cant shoot as a wing, you will be a bench player for life or out the league.

  6. I agree with Ivey and Duren, pretty much everything you said. I don't think Cade has that much to prove though, except for maybe whether he can play 65 games. I'd put Beasley third. If the best you can get is a one year, $6M deal with the Pistons, you have a lot to gain by playing well and a chance to be out of the NBA if you don't perform. I don't think Cade needs to prove any more that he's at that star level, he proved this year that he's that good.

  7. Ivey or Keegan Murray? Jaden helped himself in that draft. Yeah, Grizzlies G- leaguers for that flash game. 😮 Old regime still haunting this franchise😢

  8. Ku, Incompletely agree with your top three. I liked how you went into specifics with things you would like to see improved with Ivey and Duren. In stark contrast, there was nothing about Cade except probe that he is him. Nothing on how. To me, since he got the bag, he needs to show he is more than just a pretty stat sheet. He’s got to be more of a leader. He’s got to make guys around him better. He’s got to convert stats to W’s. And he has to show he’s willing to do it on both ends, his defense has sagged each year.
