  1. The problem is the ownership. They do not understand basketball. You either re-build or reload. Reloading means you give up drafts and young players. Ownership wanted both.

They should have reloaded. None of those high draft picks panned out. Those could have been packaged for players that can deliver now.

  2. The team he'd be PERFECT with imo is Philly. Curry has never gotten the chance to play with real big. Him and Embiid would be dangerous

  3. The answer is that Joe Lacob should sell the Warriors. They have already made billions of dollars. Stephen Curry has brought them four championships. We need a new owner that has a renewed passion for winning. This guy said he wasn’t willing to go all in for Steph Curry. This guy literally purchases the team for a few hundred million and then Steph makes it worth 4 billion in the blink of an eye and this asshole isn’t willing to go all in for Stephen Curry.

  4. I just dont see Steph leaving GSW no matter what happens lol I honestly think Steph is retiring in 2 years, so he wants a great team this year and wants the front office to make their roster better. Kuminga, Podz, Dray, TJD are decent enough to make a good run but they need a serious teammate boost to match Steph's skill (similar to prime Klay/KD).

  5. I think the entire playing with one team your entire career angle is conditional on your team being competitive. Duncan experienced that but Kobe & Dirk didn't.

I believe Dirk and more importantly Kobe stuck it out because they were washed and it wouldn't make sense switching teams.

Had Kobe not torn his Achilles and remained elite like LeBron has later in his career he would've left the Lakers.

Nobody wants to waste their last great years on a losing team. Wasting your last washed years is a different story.

  6. Modern players are SO egomaniacal and disloyal.
"He's "too good" to spend time not competing for anything". Jordan spent 4 years not competing for anything. Is he better than Jordan?

  7. Greg just described pretty much every Top 5 picks’ situation in any sport. They go from winning through HS and college to almost winless as a pro. 🤷‍♂️

  8. After seeing steph and lebron playing together on the olympic team. I WANT TO SEE THEM PLAY TOGETHER FOR A WHOLE SEASON! On the Lakers or Golden state. That would be the greatest treat we could ever ask for. that would be so fun.

  9. People keep talking about luxury tax as if Steph didn't make the Warriors the most valuable team in the NBA. The Warriors need to get Steph help or trade him. That young core is not championship caliber and the next era will be ruled by Luka, Ant, and Wemby. Trade whoever you have to, players like Steph don't come around often.

  10. Just because Steph plays with childlike joy and exuberance, people forget he should rightly be considered an elder statesman and leader in the league—a game-changer with all-time legacy and a mover and shaker as much as he wants to move around.

  11. Steph to the Nuggets. Joker and Murray would be like Draymond and Clay. Or maybe Murray would be Steph, and Steph would become Clay.

  12. I’ll forever say the most dumb thing the warriors ever did was keep Draymond and let Durant go. If they trade Draymond at the end of their season they prob win another 2 or 3 more championships.

  13. You have to look at two sides of the issue. First, sure Curry would not want to finish his career playing for a bottom feeder. But also, that bottom feeder team does not want to let Curry languish. They would accommodate a trade to a contender to get some assets back for a rebuild.

  14. Rob Pelinka going be looking like a genius when he goes gets Steph and didn’t trade all his assets for Klay Thompson or Jeremiah Grant
