[Woo] The Cardinals are calling up Victor Scott II ahead of tonight’s game against Chicago, which indicates an IL stint for Michael Siani (oblique). Really tough break for Siani and St. Louis. #STLCards

  2. Happy for VSII, but man, what a bummer for Siani. He’s been so fun to watch in CF.

  4. This obviously sucks. Can someone remind me how good defensively VSII is to Siani?

    My guess is it’s pretty close, but not quite. Maybe VSII gets to 90% of what Siani does?

    And/or, care to fill me in on how VSII’s bat has progressed in AAA since being sent down?

  5. This is a big loss. Hopefully VS2 and noot can get the job done but Siani has really become a big piece for this team 

  6. I really hope the plan is for noot to start and VS2 to be the emergency backup or a late substitution when the team is ahead. Him being an automatic out was a big part of the putrid offense at the beginning of the season.
