2. It's a 50 – 50 Situation for me. I understand why the Jets have decided to make this call however If he had played 1 or 2 series on Saturday just to work off some rust I wouldn't be totally against it either. That's just my opinion. LGJ!!!!

6. There is absolutely no reason to play Rodgers. There’s is no benefit you aren’t gaining anything. What are you gaining by putting him out for a drive with dumbed down play calling to keep him safe Why even risk it. We alll saw what could happen in 4 plays. You really want a Chad Pennington or mark sanches situation to Happen again. This was the only option. They been getting tons of work all camp they look ready!

10. They better be ready to play on September 9th; I think this will come back to bite the offense and defense not playing live- game speed until when it actually matters. It can take them 3 quarters to get going ….. risky, but that’s what you get with superstitious Saleh.

17. You'll never erase the injury paranoia of this coaching staff, they are going to try and avoid injuries at all costs this year, they're not going through it again.

22. Just by observing what the jets coaches are doing ; they increased the work load at practice and joint practices by 75% a lot of reps !! So the starters know and their bodies will be ready this whole season.. basically it’s similar to an Andy Reid and bill belichick type of camps .. selah is doing the old school way of how he was bought up

25. I hope i'm wrong but i'm predicting a loss to open up the season. Practice is practice, a game is a game. Practice cannot substitute for a game environment and all the unexpected things that can happen that players have to react to during a game. If the starters have barely had any time together on the field how do you expect them to all of a sudden put it all together when they all take the field together for the first time against San Fran? in the last pre-season game of the year, the starters should have at least 1 quarter together out there. Pre-season is to work out kinks, but the Jets will be working out their kinks during the first 4 or 5 games of the season. Hopefully I'm wrong. Let's hope Saleh knows what he's doing. 🤷‍♂

26. I would rather see the starters on the field in a game situation especially how last year played out and the influx of new players (not for the whole game though). They are playing a primetime Monday night opener so I hope they will be prepared!

27. The offense being handcuffed is what Hackett does. He is a terrible OC. Hopefully Rodgers stays healthy otherwise this offense is going nowhere. Tyrod is a capable backup but he can’t win with Hackett’s play calling

30. At first I wanted Rodgers to play in Saturday’s game but now I agree with Saleh to sit him because of the great performance yesterday from the starting offense. Go Jets!!

31. Id rather start slow and lose week one to the niners, instead of having Rodgers, breece, or Garrett going down in preseason

32. No minicamp, no preseason games, rarely goes with pads, lots of days off. We haven't been to the playoffs in 15 years but we're the laziest team in the NFL smh…

33. First of all (Jets and NFL fan since SBIII). Every year every team is different. And if you watch enough football, you can dominate and score 35 points to zero in the first half, and can't make a darn first down the second half and lose. Nothing you did 30 minutes ago, or 2 weeks may matter when game time comes. Stuff happens in football, fumble, bad ref holding calls, time clock, false start, roughing. It's a game of inches, and just forget the last bad play. 2 weeks ago? Just execute, nobody cares about last week, this is in real time win or lose. Make adjustments at half time, whether you are wining or losing. Smart players will play smart. Others need luck not time.
