[Brenden Rice] All this Easton stick disrespect gotta stop. I’ve seen him work his ass off everyday. I rather be held accountable for not carrying the things I do in practice to game day.

1. The criticism of Stick is definitely justified, but I respect Rice for having his guy’s back. That’s the kind of character you want to see on your team.

9. Nobody cares about Rice only getting 1 catch on 7 targets last game because of Stick’s poor play. I’d be appreciative of Stick in his situation too.

15. I wonder if they keep stick around for morale or something because surely they’ve seen enough and could likely find a better backup. Like does Herbert like having him around and I guess it makes sense if he makes himself valuable as a teammate if that makes sense. I never played football but in wrestling I did have teammates who were very high level in practice but for whatever reason couldnt compete. My coach still kept them in the starter room as practice partners because they elevated the starters to be better and some of them were technically better wrestlers but just crumbled under pressure. I have to assume that stick has shown something in practice thats worth value but who knows

18. I respect him taking responsibility for not showing up in the preseason but this is a lot easier to say with Stick out the door and you making the 53.
