20 more chugs and we’re PLAYOFF BOUND
Complaining about home runs, but best home run hitter and 30 homer guy only has 130 Ab this year. He can play 1st 2nd 3rd outfield 😅
It was Patrick Wisdom's birthday.
Cubs will go after Soto, just like they did for Ohtani. But just like Ohtani that never considered Cubs, Soto will not come. If you want Cubs to overpay a lot to get him, I guarantee you Cubs will be in playoffs but never win, just like they were before!
Hoerners 2024 stat line currently is almost equivalent to 2023 Madrigal. That's been a huge issue.
Dansby has been much better since the All Star break.
Amaya has been the best hitter on the team since the first week of July.
PCA is seemingly figuring it out (he did have a couple bad ABs last night striking out on 3 pitches but had a solid bases loaded walk).
Seiya has been consistent all season really but has turned it up a bit in July/August.
Nice to see improvement but it's unfortunate it's coming at this point in the season.
Lastly Soto will never be a Cub.
For the love of god. Stop going to the games. Moat expensive ticket in baseball for absolute garbage the last 5 years.
