Very high intensity and fun game. Zuccarello did his all on his birthday, and Norway played with a lot of energy the first half, but seemed to had run out of gas towards the end. Andersen played quite well apart from a couple of bad rebounds (one of them leading to 0:1). Two cross ice passes that the Norwegian defense and netminder had no answer for made the difference.
All in all deserved win in front of an energetic home crowd!
Denmark played well today, but it seemed like their defense every game, including today, was a bit all over the place. Loved seeing a Fuck You Freddie performance.
Norway still has a decent chance of making the Olympics. Right now Russia is technically qualified for the Olympics as the decision on barring them from international competition is reviewed yearly. If they are banned again, their place will be taken by the best of the 2nd place finishers. Norway will still be in that mix.
As a Swede, I congratulate them and I hope we annihilate them if we play against them. 🇸🇪❤️🇩🇰
