I wanted to share the impact that the Gaudreau family has had on my hometown of South Jersey. I learned how to play ice hockey at Hollydell (Johnny and Matty’s home rink). Coach Guy led many of the clinics that I attended, and taught me (and thousands of other kids) the basics of the game. For any of those who had the pleasure of attending a Coach Guy camp, you got to see exactly why Johnny and Matty became as good as they were. Being around 9 and 7 years older respectively than my age group, we always looked up to the brothers. To keep a long story short, when Johnny made the NHL, the whole area was ecstatic. So many people doubted him, and he proved all of them wrong. Both brothers were mentors to us both on and off the ice — people we could aspire to be like. It’s amazing how many lives these beautiful souls have impacted and inspired along the way. We will NEVER forget you 13 and 21❤️

I appreciate the sentiment, but for the love of god, rephrase your post.
It’s crazy how much taller you look than Johnny despite what I assume is a good age difference
Truly was amazing to see a 5’9” guy prove that height doesn’t mean as much in the NHL. Johnny will go down in the books with Theo and St.Louis as to what can be accomplished with dedication and hard work despite probably the many people who said he’d never make it
