A missed FG, a dumb turnover and a horrible 4th down play call, wiped out a monster game from the defense.
All we wanted out of the offense was a clean game. Couldn’t even get that.
I would expect my emotions to be protected from the disappointment because I knew with like 99% certainty, this season was going to be a wash. But for some reason that 1% hope is enough to experience the disappointment of another completely wasted season as a Raiders fan.
It won’t be as bad the rest of the year because I know with 100% certainty what to expect now
How no one saw this coming is beyond me. This team does not look good. Not even on paper
I’m glad I didn’t start drinking this afternoon because that game is not worth the hangover.
Or…
Maybe I *should* start drinking because that was painful and I want to go comfortably numb.
Then when we win everyone will say they always had faith and this is the perfect team lol
We have 2 back up qbs, so we don’t have a starting qb. Once we all take off our silver and black glasses it’s clear as day.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but having Getsy as our OC and Minshew as our QB, this was kind of predictable
MINSHEW SHOULD NOT BE OUR STARTING QB !

Like this hasn’t been happening for 20 years
Not to mention the shitty ball spot on that 3rd down run in the 1st quarter, and Pierce doesnt have the awareness to challenge the spot. A bad game from the offense and coaching for sure- defense was playing as advertised until they got predictably gassed in the 3rd quarter
Remember last season when AOC didn’t turn the ball over once down the stretch? They need to ask themselves two questions for starting QB. Are you going to look at Davante Adams and can you not throw a pick? We’re screwed regardless though.
It sucks but I think our defense Is good. Hopefully and quickly we will make some adjustments on Offense.
Absolutely disappointed.
Not really surprised so not too disappointed. We have a lot of talent on the team, but some definite holes in the roster and a lot things to clean up
Luckily there’s a whole season to build up steam and learn from our mistakes today.
It’s coach AP’s first year as a HC so I fully expect him to act like a rookie HC.

I’m not too worried about it. Defense looked great for most of the game and controlled it until the very end. If only AP had switched his decisions on when to go for it on 4th down, and Carlson didn’t miss that kick, this game may have ended differently. We still get to see them one more time
