Baltimore Orioles @ New York Yankees | LIVE! Play-by-Play & Commentary | 9/26/24 | Game #159
The Orioles (88-70) are coming off their most important win of the season. No doubt about it. Yes, the final score made it look close, but so many positive takeaways as the Birds move to 8-4 head-to-head on the season against the Yankees. The offense could not have been healthier. Seventeen hits pounded out, including the first six batters of the game, and everyone in the lineup had at least one knock. And all of this without the benefit of a single homerun. Meanwhile, Zach Eflin did what he could to work around not having his best stuff and could not quite get the job done, but the bullpen ate some vital innings up and our offense was able to stay ahead of any damage Aaron Judge could do. The Yankees did get the big hit from Judge to make it close in the ninth, but by then, the majority of their fans at the stadium walked out on them. It may still be a very long shot, but a win today, and the division title remains out there for another day. It’s still very much in the Yankees hands but we will attempt to delay their celebration until we leave town with a sweep. Corbin Burnes will make his final regular season start, in search of win number sixteen, in a battle of aces with Gerrit Cole on the bump for New York. FOUR GAMES left in this season. Momentum is building in our favor. So saddle up, grab some snacks, a drink or six, and enioy the ballgame. Thank yooooouuuuuu.
Hello folks, and welcome to the newest home of Orioles coverage. I am Steve, AKA, the BirdWatcher, and I am on what the Blues Brothers would refer to as – a mission from GOD. Due to a variety of reasons and unexpected circumstances, this former staff writer for the Premier League gets to return to his original passion, starting his own project – covering Orioles baseball all season long. That’s right. Along with a handful of Spring Training games, the mission is to cover EVERY regular season game this year.
If you love the Orioles, of if you just love the game of baseball, I think you have happened upon a great find. Yes, this channel is new…things may have that “under construction” look about it, but I promise you – what matters most is calling a good game, provide commentary from the Oriole fan perspective and create an environment for fellow BirdWatchers to congregate, and talk baseball, LIVE and in the moment. I cannot wait to meet more and more fellow Oriole fans and fans of the great American pastime.

15 reports sent. Hope your channel gets shut down and you learn a life lesson. Telling someone they should commit Harry Carry is a problem and you are a problem. I pray that God has mercy on your soul.
