  1. Ignore save percentage when talking about goalies, since defence can affect that stat heavily, which Jesse talks about.

    Place importance on "goals saved above expected per 60 minutes", that's the true goaltender stat.

  2. It's funny when people say "But those are power play points" like PP isn't part of the game. Also, like the Rangers didn't win the president's trophy last year purely on their power play, they basically got through the Hurricanes on their power play as well.

  3. The problem with the Penguins is that Mike Sullivan's system plays to speed on the wings and aggressive forechecking. It's what made those Cup teams so good and why Hagelin/Kessel were so effective. The team is now PAINFULLY slow and they dont have the skaters on the back end to erase mistakes. Every transition to their zone is hell to watch. If they get any sort of positive regression on the PP with Quinn in, they have a chance. But it's a long shot
