NJ Devils Offseason Recap | Tom Fitzgerald Was A Busy Man!
New Jersey Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald had a very busy offseason.
After failing to make the playoffs in the 2023-24 season, Fitzy went out and made some major changes.
He did this via trades and Free Agent signings, as well as finding a new coach for his NJ Devils club.
In this video I go through all of the New Jersey Devils moves this offseason.

***PLEASE NOTE: Somehow ESPN did not have the Brenden Dillon signing on their list, and I overlooked it before recording. Brenden Dillon was a MASSIVE signing for this New Jersey Devils team. The big veteran defenseman is going to bring some BOOM to the blueline! He finished 10th last season in the ENTIRE NHL in hits with a whopping 242! A much needed presence to the defense. The injuries are discouraging. I think it will help a lot when Pesce gets in there but even with him I won't be surprised if they have a slow start, 1st ten games or so.
Really like seeing the competitiveness jn the lineup! Coaches have a lot of room to work with, and there's no room for complacency in the locker room. Hopefully it brings out the best in everyone.

I am hoping Keefe drills our guys hard after blowing all the preseason games, and starts making the chemistry flow. That being said, I am overall satisfied with the moves he made in the offseason. I just wish he #BringBradytoNJ….maybe at the deadline he works something out if we are in a playoff spot…

I’m annoyed with this Pesce situation. Expected him to be ready for game 1. The surgery was kept under wraps and no transparency to Devils nation. I want to see a hard nosed heavy bunch this Fri/Sat! Letsss gooo! Need 4 pts…LGD!
